Where is the "INTERVENTION" Emoticon before we waste any more time on this eponymous topic? Methinks we need to get one. This has become so painful to read, I have to weigh in as devil's advocate of sorts. (For those who know anything about astrology, my Libra Rising & cusp are trumping my 3 Scorpio planets.)
John, the above ^ was directed to FR-Forum Readers. The rest of my comments are directed toward you with sincerity. I don't mess around with people's heads. I might kid around (like when I called LNN 'my pet' in a very recent post, but he has a playful personality; he knows I don't consider him that and was not being condescending). I also use terms of endearment or 'pet names' routinely, even though some people don't like it when strangers do this; it comes from raising 2 boys, one of whom isn't fully grown up yet. At any rate, this shows me you do have a caring nature. You are also highly subjective - which is neither positive nor negative in itself - but this makes you get defensive easily. So believe it or not, the other posters would like to be helpful but don't see an access route in your case. Am I making any sense to you?
FYI, I found it necessary to put in my profile that I prefer to be addressed as "Mistress" or "Lady," although Ma'am gets a pass. There are some Dommes, however, who find the term Mistress offensive because of the connotation of being the kept woman of a married man. So when in doubt, seeing as to how you make an overall attempt to be deferential to women, go with Ma'am. I personally don't mind it since even in its vanilla vernacular, a married man's mistress could very well be his Mistress. I view the term in both generic & intimate terms. In its generic sense, it's a title, much like Goddess or Princess, although I would never ask to be called those. In its intimate sense, Mistress is how I prefer my sub address me--we are both on the same page when it comes to this matter. (Your Post#3: "many dommes have asked me to call them 'MISTRESS'.")
You foolishly let a group of renegade FinDommes get their hooks into you. They are not representative of all Dommes. From what I understand, a real FinDomme operates on a consensual basis with her finsubs. Intimidation tactics which are not consensual are not only unethical, but give all Dommes a bad reputation. I understand where you are coming from with that. No, we Dommes don't all stick together. We certainly want nothing to do with fake Domme posers. You feel you were treated unfairly by people who don't play fair to begin with! They didn't get your money, which is what they were after, so they didn't win as long as you don't play their game. Don't let those lowlifes keep mindfucking you. No need to justify your outrage. End of story.

You've professed how you love & worship women, and I don't want to see you get soured by your bad experiences. Dust yourself off, babe, and take comfort in knowing that one day some special lady will appreciate your fierce devotion.
