Hi there!

Transgender (TG) is a messy term which addresses both crossdressers and transvestites (CDs/TVs), which are people who dress as the opposite genders for a temporary sexual charge and then go back to their normal gender; and transsexuals, which are people that get no sexual gratification, but simply want to change their born body gender to align with the gender in their brain. Many people confuse them. To make matters more confusing, TSs usually start off crossdressing, so there’s no simple binary. TSs frequently use the term “trans” for TSs only, making things murkier. A cis person is someone who is born one gender with no desire to change (i.e., the opposite of trans). Transsexuals generally progress from crossdressing to hormonal treatment, at which point they’re considered pre-op. If they have their genitals reassigned (sexual reassignment surgery or SRS), then they’re post-op. If they decide to never have SRS, they’re sometimes called non-op.

Shibaru is a form of bondage.

Welcome to the forums.

SCA stands for the Society for Creative Anachronism. It's a group of people that get together, dress up, and reenact battles and scenes from history. It has nothing to do with BDSM.

Actually, you shouldn't be using another person's introduction thread to ask your question.

Google is your friend:

quote:

The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an international living history group with the aim of studying and recreating mainly Medieval European cultures and their histories before the 17th century. A quip often used within the SCA describes it as a group devoted to the Middle Ages "as they ought to have been,"[2] choosing to "selectively recreate the culture, choosing elements of the culture that interest and attract us."[2] Founded in 1966, the non-profit educational corporation has about 29,000 paid members as of 2012[1] with about 60,000 total participants in the society (including members and non-member participants).[3]

Welcome to the forums to the original poster of the thread.

FR~

I often wonder why people have sideways pics.

I remember a thread some while back about this very thing.
Someone said they couldn't edit it on their iPhone.
Many came up with loadsa apps to do the job.

Why don't people take the pic with the camera the right way up and avoid all the fuss??

Oh.... and to M3.
