My favorite place to go for lunch in a great little town in Pennsylvania right on the Delaware got flooded out.
I eat there at least once a week.  It's my time to be alone.  I bring my Ipod and a book and sit in the outside bar.
I'm going to be very sad until it reopens.

If I know where it is, it might be out of commission for a while.

I know.  I'm sad.  I like it there.  Got my first tattoo there.
It's where I go for ladies night out.  Although I hear Philly is pretty hoping at night.

I got to watch a little part of what's been going on back there and had wondered why LaM and few others posts counts were down - makes sense.

Stay dry and have a good Fourth ; }

I'm on a hill.  Bone dry here.  Lately it's given me some Schadenfreude to watch the channels of water streaming down towards New Jersey.

Okay. Tied with nottertail's "ribeye steak and a blow job" entry for Post of the Day.

Anybody see a tie-breaker?

I'm having a chainsaw party today. The babbling brook by my house turned into a raging torrent that eroded the bank on the other side and dropped 10 trees my way. A couple of them slapped the house but did insignificant damage.

That was the kind of excitement that I'd rather not experience ever again. But in the grand scheme of things it's not so bad compared to what a lot of other folks went through..

This was not a bad flood. A bad one is when grams furniture goes to the 2nd floor.  72 was BAD.  96 was bad.  06 is too early for 72 type bad. low lying areas always get it. the amish live in the hills.
