There are plenty of quick ways into a "scene" the difficulty with doing that is what happens may not be what you may have wanted.
Best advice: Be patient, learn about things, ask questions and take the advice that you think fits you the best. No one has all the answers, but you may get some new and interesting ideas that you have not thought about.
Perhaps go to the General BDSM section and look at the sticky threads there and get some reading material. It never hurts to get as much information as you can and some of the books suggested are quite good.
Take your time if you are new. Because, frankly if you rush into something and you have a bad experience then it may put you off for quite some time.
