ORIGINAL: NuevaVida I'm a fan of amber ales and I like trying the not-so-popular brews. Recently went to Boulder and enjoyed the Left Handed Brewery - very good stuff. One amazing surprise was when I was at a pub in a small town in Virginia...I ordered "Magic Hat #9" simply for the name. It was an apricot infused beer that was remarkable. Went well with my very spicy She Crab Soup. I must admit that I go for the names too, Had a couple of pints of Green Bullet yesterday, as I'm a harmonica player & that's the mic I blow through, had to give it a try, wasn't bad. 'Spicy She Crab Soup'? Sounds tasty. You're lucky if they give you a packet of pork scratchings or a bag of crisps over here in Blighty ! Milk Stout is lovely, especially with a hint of vanilla in it.
