Well they pointed the finger as best they could, given the remit thay had.

Syria had a high grade of Sarin, better quality than anything Saddam had, so that rules out the rebels getting chemical weapons from that source.

Some of the projectiles had indeed come from areas controlled by Assads forces, as well as having being fired from artillery weapons that only Assads trrops have..

Whoever used them must have been well versed in chemical warfare, since they waited for the opitimum weather conditions.

Now lets see how genuine Assad is about getting rid of his stockpiles.

I'd suspect "not very" is the answer to that.

It was group X, which has infiltrated both the rebel forces and Assad's forces.

Now lets see how genuine Assad is about getting rid of his stockpiles.

He will be very genuine. But long after all those chemical weapons are destroyed, UN forces will drive around in Syria, asserting that they have not found any further stockpiles but that they are convinced that Syria has more stockpiles. And eventually some US general will hold a speach for the UN assembly and show aerial photographs and indicate where Syria has further stockpiles and then a coalition will bomb Syria and USA troops will subsequently invade that country - and not find any further stockpiles. In short: the Iraq recipe.

Try not making shit up. There is no mention of a group x, a foreskin or another such nonsense.

That is because group X is secret, hence the name X. Please have the courtesy to admit that group X not being mentioned, does not disprove that group X exists.

The latest seems to be that the Russians are reaffirming their belief that the rebels did the gas attack. Also, that they don't want to get into military action against the Syrian regime should it not play ball with the inspections.

Well, at least one mess has been swapped for a mess that looks slightly less dangerous. That's the best that I can predict, right now.

It's frustrating to see the Russians distance themselves from the report.

No worries. It's all good. Putin is giving President Obama lessons in riding to the rescue...
