I am presently working on a nefarious plan to start a new ice age or take over the world and turn over complete control to Video Admin Alpha so that I have more time to devote to my ultimate goal of taking over the galaxy.

That's all well and good but are you properly prepared? Many have tried to take the galaxy over, only to fall short through small mistakes. Avoidable mistakes such as incorrect footwear, not making enough sandwiches before you set off or forgetting to cancel your newspaper delivery. Be a shame if you didn't succeed because of a simple oversight.

Correct, the truth is not a defense to making personal attacks. For example, if I were in fact a lying junkie thief, you are still not allowed to call me that.

OP, Teasing is great in the bedroom or during a scene, but doing it on a board like this is nothing more than a means of getting attention. If your truth is derogatory toward an individual, you already know that you can't air it publicly. You can, however, describe the situation without names if you genuinely want advice or input of some other fashion.

Depends on what you THINK the truth is.

What you think and what is true are usually two completely different things.

Why would it be? TOS forbids personal attacks. If there is a personal attack they're supposed to pull the post. Why would a statement's truth have any bearing on that decision? If it breaks the rules they pull it, whether it's true or not. That seems straightforward enough. I don't see the problem.

Part of my plan involves in limiting the supply of good whiskey (including premium scotch) and flooding the world market with whiskeys that taste like a mixture of turpentine and horse piss.

IMO all scotch tastes like that to begin with.

I will prove it.

For the record, I am an evil super villain that began his career the minute after he was born. I am directly responsible for every manmade and natural disaster that happened after 15 June 1961, at 0245 mountain time.

Sips my unmarred single malt.

You'll not mess with my scotch.

Oh yes, I've got this.

To misquote William Blake:-

Truth told with bad intent can beat all the lies you could invent.

Just be careful what you let out of the bag.

If truth is different than what the "IN" crowd ascribes to, it can be a very bad thing. Things can very ugly, very quickly, for people that don't march in lock-step and spout the "party line".

Of course it is. That's why I never do so. Everything I say is a lie.
