Second refrain was; dog got run over the the truck, lost my wife, job......train running through town, was an engineer....etc.

It was that guy....who sang that song....I know who it was....

jlf1961 -> RE: i have a song stuck banging around in my head an i can't place it (9/23/2013 7:42:56 PM)

Clearly it is a country song dealing with a truck driver who's cheating wife was run over by a train while she was walking the dog.

And people wonder why I listen to 80's rock. The reason is simple, growing up I was subjected to Ray Price, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Tammy Whinette, Porter Wagner, etc.

better and better, my advice is to listen 70's rock until it will replace the former hassle

Yer think'n of "cleanin' out the closet",or aka"sorry momma"
he had a few others similar, but not quiet
mostly songs to his daughter apologizing about him and his baby momma not getting along....a common theme in most hip hop too I'm afraid lol

Nah, this condition calls for something way stronger, more up beat....like blaring 70's afro funk,my prescription is to take this song as loud as possible 3 times a day,if hearing continues, see a doctor...

Cation:May cause emotions of happiness and compulsive foot somp'n

I have always really loved the "My Fault" song and I thought that there was something like what the OP was discussing on the same CD. I am not overly familiar though with the rest of his songs.

Until you said that, I thought it might be Chapin's The Cat's in the Cradle.

LittleGirlHeart -> RE: i have a song stuck banging around in my head an i can't place it (9/24/2013 6:32:15 PM)

No, it's not Sorry Mrs Jackson, though i like that song.

Sorry Momma, didn't have anything to do with the kids doing drugs and prostituting, or the woman being raped while he was on tour.

Hence why I mentioned it,none of Eminems songs are that brutal.

PyrotheClown -> RE: i have a song stuck banging around in my head an i can't place it (9/25/2013 2:04:27 AM)

Well,to be honest, I can't personally cant help you with your inquiry...
but I can give you another catchy brutally sad rap song to listen toooooo
next best thing, right?
here ya go, ballad of worms
A song about a young couple coping with a terminal disease
"Wants to make love
But I had to substitute it with holding hands while we take
drugs"
