The Intrade market's presidential outcome line showed trades believed it was a close race. This single outlier was touted by many news organizations as the election drew to a close. Now a study shows the market was manipulated by a single trader willing to lose millions of dollars to do so.

This is a surprise? Intrade, lightly covered and susceptible to such manipulation is oft used as a bellwhether for elections. 4 million dollars to manipulate that result is chump change.

So some conservative or group of conservatives tried to manipulate a 'source of information' in order to skew things in favor of the GOP. Not sure why that would be a news worthy item given that conservatives do this on a regular basis....
