Fall is in the air and so is ragweed! Been sneezing like crazy to the point where Mom is making me take Dayquil (as if that works). Got 2 blue ribbons in the county fair this past week. A prayer shawl for my cousin and a round ripple baby afghan (come on, there has to be someone preggers around here...). Got a case of insomnia right now so I am working on a car blanket for the safety seat. Need to finish up the duckie afghan (its the border...all lacy). No relationship but Bo has been hinting about perhaps dating when I come down there next month. Lizard and him got moved but not unpacked yet...guess I need to get a whip out to make them get their butts in gear. Mom is walking every day except when it rains. Her leg is coming back strong. My back has been acting up. Been seeing the chiropractor and every time, my back pops. She blames the crocheting...I am also developing a dowager's hump, maybe from being too top heavy in the chest. Seeing the doctor tomorrow for pain killers, flu shot, maybe a shingles shot and a spot on the sole of my foot. I suspect a plantar wart...had one years ago.

I've been insanely busy since the school year started. So busy that I've hardly had time to check my email, let alone visit CM or any other message board. Unfortunately, between being busy with kids and some health issues with my mother, I wasn't able to maintain a long-distance relationship. Kittyboi and I are no longer in a D/s relationship, but we are still on good terms. He recently married his puppygirl and they're very happy together. I'm thrilled for them. My amazing and wonderful girlfriend enjoys a little slap-and-tickle in the bedroom, so that's the full extent of my kink life at the moment, but she prefers to let me lead the relationship, so I'm content. [:)] Other than that, not much to report. And now to get back to lessons with my first-grader.

Best of the Autumn Season to you Ladies, I'm in recuperative mode after Folsom Streetfair & Fringe, it was pretty damn awesum and felt a LOT like Mardi Gras! My Consort gifted Me a matched pair of medium floggers, (both a little sting & thud) - great at their initial flogging on him Saturday night at the Folsom Fringe Play Party! (( Big bad rule "you do not talk about the hotel we had BDSM Kink classes for 2 days and rented out 3 floors for our Kinksters )) I really enjoyed our suite spot - just fine for naughty shots and fetish gear friends photos. Today I'm working on My photos to send to those lucky ones who showed up for their Photoshoot appointments & prepaid for them! Will have many random Folsom Street images to share, after I crop, enhance & send images to My friends. Gawds I love playing with My Fetishes!

Happy October! Glad to see the thread and the participants. Whew! I'm glad everybody else is also mentioning that they've been busy. I feel like September was a whirlwind and October shows no signs of slowing down. After finishing all of the wax projects that I talked about during last month's roll call, I swung into a number of other things. I've been switching gears and doing more community projects, impact play, and hosting friends and family. The house has been busy and I've been quite content. Our little community is going through some changes and I've been asked to be a part of that, which has also been keeping Me occupied. October looks like more of what September brought. A community dungeon coming up that will mean a costume theme. I have upcoming private play opportunities as well. We have some new folks who have been joining us in our little area. Believe it or not, somebody actually moved into My little town and introduced himself here on CM. I'm also doing more with a prior play partner that may be expanding into a little more. While I don't want to jinx anything, I'm thinking October and beyond are going to be quite good. Today is MP's birthday, so please join Me in wishing him a happy one. Mine was five days before. Between the two of us, we've celebrated accordingly. Probably one of the best birthday's that I've had in years. I hope everyone is doing well.

I've never posted here, so hopefully I'm getting it right. Feel free to smack me upside the head if I'm not. But I love this time of year. I love fall, and hockey season is back. My bowling and indoor soccer leagues are back. I can sleep with the windows open. The Tigers are in the playoffs. I'm back in one of my "I want to get more active and talkative" moods lately, so I'm going to try and remember to keep checking in here.

Welcome servuspet! Lady P! Happy birthday to you and MP!!!! October is a great month. It's the brats birthday. I have an awesome party planned. Hello kitty themed. I just ordered her cake, two tiers. I'm making shrimp cocktail in martini glasses, hubby is cooking chicken and beef kabobs. Her gifts have arrived and we're sneaking them around the house trying to wrap them. It's frantic but fun,lol. Then around the 26th, we'll head on down to New Orleans for the vampires ball. I'd love to see some of my forum friends if you're living there or just down there for festivities. This year we're staying in a haunted hotel. Fun fun! I'm thinking of going as Medusa or a geisha. Can't figure out which one. Then on the way back home we plan on stopping by his parents house, they have a shindig planned. I'm so excited. They are awesome and accept our poly lifestyle. So that helps :) Then back in time for trick or treating. Yes I take them trick or treating, yes I participate, yes I love candy! But, this year we actually are borrowing a friends kid so we won't look like adults in costumes. Well, the brat is tiny, so she can get away with it. She'll be Darth Vader, I'll be a chicken (full chicken costume), not sure what everyone else will be, they haven't decided yet. Lol.

Welcome to the roll call, servuspet. This is where everyone is welcome to check in at the beginning of the month with whatever's going on for them. I actually survived Folsom Street Fair and there are pics to prove: http://www.collarchat.com/m_4542955/tm.htm Huck expressed disappointment about more naked guys than women. He was under the impression that there would be a more even balance. Heheheheh! Driving over the new Bay Bridge, wandering through China Town on the way to Folsom, visiting the downtown Goodwill, and staying at Huck's 1907 apartment with all the original wood, windows, ceilings, doors and stairs were other highlights of the weekend. New accordion is due any day now and of course, I won't even be able to pick it up, let alone play it for a while. Rotator cuff miseries from...well, playing the accordion. [:(] I will magically have to get well before the next gig; had to do the last one all-violin which didn't feel so great either. I've been officially diagnosed with OBS: old body syndrome. [&:] Harvest ended in the wee hours of this morning as we finished up the bulk of the prep and canning. Worms were voracious and got half our crop despite copious neem oil; hope the little bastards are satisfied. S is a glutton for punishment; already mapping out what to put in the greenhouse for winter. Best weather of the year but no sailing due to injuries and CB's home responsibilities. Drat! Band is working away. We've actually had to turn down gigs because we're overbooked. We're putting together our costumes for a Halloween gig. The three ladies are going as leopards with matching spotted masks. We've got leopard footie PJs, leopard tights, leopard leotard, and my new black 'ring-master' hat. Gotta find a tail somewhere. It's nice to hear from everyone. I had a friend staying at my place for the last month and she will be going back to AZ tomorrow. Also, I've lost 31 lbs so far. WooHoo! I have a long ways to go, but it's a start. :) My new kitty is just the cutest ever. She fetches! Happy belated Birthday to both Lady Pact and her MP, hugs to you both. And welcome servuspet! I think Ive only ever partaken in the "Roll"call" section once...I dont know why, probably cos Im suffering from OBS AND CRS right now, I have lots going on here, Im happy to say that the business is getting better, we just had our best week/month in a year and a half...Exciting stuff and much needed. We got a boost from a couple on fetlife, a photographer and his wife, I sent them a corset to take some pics for the website and the pics came back absolutely stunning. Ive spent a lot of the summer travelling back and forth to DC, MD, WV to visit my pet, and we had a lot of fun, playing and going to events in MD. Which have been wonderful, now I just need to get my arse in gear and get out to some local munches and parties again. WE played a lot with the violet wand and new attachments, and a couple of new floggers(which left some marks, that stayed for longer than usual, yipee. Yes I bottom for floggings and waxings, as long as I get a return go:) Had a lot going on with the husbands health, but he seems better than he has done for months, my mum moved into a new retirement village last week, and she is so much happier, but now I HAVE to plan a trip to the UK to see her and everyone. Be warned in the UK< IM coming to see you as many as I can!!!! My kids are all working and one in uni too, the middle one quit his job of five years, but within three weeks he had a new job. The youngest is moving around various stations in the restaurant he works in, and is happy learning new stuff, and my eldest one is studying for midterms, seriously(yay) The arthritis in my shoulders and neck is giving me conniptions, but the nerve damage in my left hand is better and no surgery yet.... Hello to all the ladies:) and gents too, hope things are good for the rest of the month.Life is good here right now, and IM making the most of it. I love the fall!!

Lizard gt her first piercing (a Marilyn Monroe with an emerald gem) and got an interview for a local cafe on the bus route. I hope she gets it. It will help her self esteem out a lot. Even my Mom say the emerald looks beautiful and she is against piercing...LOL! The cold has turned into a full flange climate change cold. No fever, just thristy and it has settle in my chest and throat. I got Nyquil and Dayquil so I am fixed up. One of my brothers got promoted to Post Master to another PO in a small village here in TX (yes, less than 200 people, I call it a village) but it involved a cut in pay but it is easier work and he gets to sit down a bit so he does not hurt his back. The VA doctor (who hates him) claims he is getting better but that is a bare-face lie. The case is going to appeal...if this shutdown does not affect it. I am appealing my SNAP as well. I accidentally left some stuff out and the ladies kindly filled in the blanks. I hope it works. My brother in Afghanistan told a General off when the said General started cussing out the independent contractors. My brother lost respect for him and reported his sorry ass to ID. Guess who got fired and it was the man with the brass.

Been busy here. Just had our annual family gathering. Much camping, hiking and eating. Had to put one of my fur babies down a few weeks ago. One of my horses went into liver failure. No concrete reason why but he declined rapidly and finally, after two weeks of hell, I had him put down. The other horse was lost and depressed so I quickly found another to keep him company. The new horse is a bit of an asshole jerk but probably the most fun riding horse I've ever owned. I've been in canning mode the last month as well. Jars of applesauce, salsa, marinara sauce, preserves, line the pantry shelves. The deep freeze is full of meat as well. ( not horse... ) Fall is finally here. Put new tires and brakes on the 'zoom zoom' and the 4 wheel drive truck is next. Replaced the back door and are in process doing of new storm windows. Stocking up on hay. I've continued to lose weight and feel fabulous.

My first Roll Call. This month I have been interviewing slaves and having the three on the short list do a "test" work day. They all claim to like/love No Strings Housework. Isn't that amazing! In a way I'm glad they only work part time. I still like my solitude. Christmas knitting is what's keeping me busy. Austin, TX, is where 5 matching sweaters are going. One is finished and one is about half done. All three that are going to Anchorage, AK, are finished.

Also my first roll call... (I'm a sub is it ok if I participate?) I'm moving this month. Most of my time has been taken up by all the work involved with that. But I am enjoying the fall! Also I wasn't sure my boyfriend (and top) was going to be making the move with me for financial reasons, but he has decided to so I am delighted. Happy birthday to those who celebrated! I am ALSO about to start knitting for Christmas...which made me just panic a little over how fast the holidays are approaching. Happy October!
