Go to Fetlife.com (it's a free site) and do a search for your city/area. It will list all of the local BDSM organizations, as well as upcoming events. Good luck. -Roch

Did you enter in your zip code in your profile? Once you do that it will give you the distance that other users are from you.

Hey Ashley - did you know some woman called Monroe Lee has stolen your profile pic and plastered it all over the interwebz? You might want to get the 'net police onto that....[8\|] (apologies to Mods for the derail, so now...back on topic) To the OP - go to a local munch (find it on Fetlife) and meet people. Even if you don't find the person you're looking for, you'll learn a lot about the bdsm world and it will help you to make the correct choices if you choose to look online.
