Are there women out there that enjoy the sensual seductive side of smoking? Do you feel sexy while you smoke?

TigressLily -> RE: Smoking fetish question for women (10/5/2013 4:08:11 AM)

Frankly, I've been a light smoker for too many years to feel there's anything sexy about smoking. It's purely a stress-reliever for me, a bad habit I've only been able to shake twice in my life for a few years at a stretch (while family planning, during pregnancy & nursing). I'll confess that when I first began smoking, my smoking buddies and I probably thought we were "cool" in the immature manner in which teenagers try to mimic adults, along with cussing, drinking & smoking pot . . . and having sex.

Smoking itself isn't a fetish or kink, but I have been propositioned to blow smoke in a man's face, which I declined. Then there are human ashtrays. I suppose there are men who find it sexy to see a woman smoke, but there are considerably more who are turned off altogether by smoking.

I have to agree with Tigress on this one.

I know loads of women who smoke (including the wife) but not a single one of them think of it as 'sexy' or 'seductive' in any sense of the word.
As Tigress said, I also don't think of smoking as a fetish or kink at all.

it's a revolting habit that makes your clothes, hair and breath stink.

I can't stand the habit, and wouldn't even consider being with anyone who was even a light smoker. Mostly that's cos I'm an asthmatic and it makes me feel ill, but the smelly side-effects are a total turn-off too.

Only if she is smoking a corona cigar and drinking scotch.

LadyPact -> RE: Smoking fetish question for women (10/5/2013 9:34:53 AM)

Whether people think it's a bad habit or not (of which I'm prone to agree) it actually is a fetish and it most certainly is a kink. The term for which is capnolagnia.

It doesn't have to be your kink, but you can't deny that it is one.

True. Human ashtray and all that. I'm asked about it on occasion by sub guys, though sadly for them I don't smoke.

OsideGirl -> RE: Smoking fetish question for women (10/5/2013 11:52:52 AM)

While I understand it's a kink/fetish, I just don't think watching my Grandmother slowly die from cancer was sexy.........

TigressLily -> RE: Smoking fetish question for women (10/5/2013 12:05:21 PM)

What freedomdwarf1 and I agree upon is that by & large, women who smoke are not motivated out of fetishism or kinkiness. Now, a woman can certainly turn her smoking into a kinky behaviorism catering to her own desires or to those of a cigpig slave, who will most likely be a male.

Thanks for providing the proper term for the receiving end of this fetish, LP, as I only touched upon the subject rather than call out OP for positing his keen interest.

Another personal confirmation for me that men tend to wishfully think and erroneously hope that women get as turned on by the same things they do. Thusly:

http://collarncuffs.com/resources/doku.php?id=capnolagnia
The dark side of smoking emphasizes the dominance of the woman smoker, whether in BDSM fetish gear or as the “take charge” sadistic girlfriend. Videos produced for this aspect of the fetish often show a man in bondage with one or more women blowing smoke in his face, “ashing” him, forcing him to eat their ashes, and possibly being burned. Because of its relation to male humiliation and masochism, the dark side of the smoking fetish is most often combined with other fetishes, including corporal punishment. Dark side fetishists also include those whose attraction is to the lit cigarette (as an implement of pain) or to an ashtray of butts (as an object with which to humiliate him).

http://www.rightdiagnosis.com/c/capnolagnia/symptoms.htm
3 symptoms listed below:
Sexual interest in watching other people smoking
Recurring intense sexual fantasies involving watching other people smoking
Recurring intense sexual urges involving watching other people smoking

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smoking_fetishism
Some fetishists have a fascination with the addictive properties of nicotine, and its ability to cause harm, and there is a sub-fetish relating to women being harmed by smoking, sometimes called "the dark side", "black lung fetish" or "lung damage".
.... it has also been speculated that men who have smoking fetishes are more likely to have mothers who smoked, going back to the old belief that all men are secretly attracted to women who are just like their mothers.

I will do it as a kink for human ashtrays but I don't actually smoke. I never inhale! Lol

eulero83 -> RE: Smoking fetish question for women (10/5/2013 3:37:11 PM)

I heard is something that has to do with the act of sucking on something, it's the evolved version of looking a girl eating a banana, I personally find smoking annoing and hardly stand the sight of a cigarette, it actually was a gesture hollywood built its fortune around, so I think it had to be much more common as a fetish before we discovered how unhealty it is.

When I was a smoker, I loved it. It felt sexy to me, and I felt I looked sexy while smoking.

I gave up in 2006, and feel much sexier without the cigarettes, smell and smokers cough.

njlauren -> RE: Smoking fetish question for women (10/6/2013 11:43:59 AM)

It is a fetish, but it is among men watching a woman smoke, or in someway interacting (having smoke blown in their face, used as an ashtray). There is something there I suspect where a woman who smokes must be this bitch, because after all who would smoke but a nasty bitch or slut? (and to women in general, I am talking about what they have translated, not what I think or what is, god help us.....)..... I know of women who could play act with smoking to cater to a man's fetish, burn/smoke cigarettes with red lipstick on and leave them in the ashtray at home, and tell hubby with a cuck fetish they were from when she was with her lover (the red lipstick and the fact that she didn't smoke making it "look what a bad girl I was with my lover)....or the bitch in leather and healed boots ready to have her way, etc, but I have never met a woman who fetishized smoking.

The only place where I saw 'women' with a smoking fetish was with crossdressers and such, a lot of them when dressed get turned on by smoking, especially 'ladies' cigarettes, and even with some who actually transitioned they seem to take it with them ......

SurrenderForMe -> RE: Smoking fetish question for women (10/6/2013 9:32:35 PM)

I don't think it's a fetish for me, but I dated a woman who smoked. In a world where smoking has become anathema, it was a rush to fuck, whip, bathe and make out while smoking. Lol, it gives new meaning to blowing smoke up someone's ass (or vagina). Feels interesting in a super mild, probably all in my head, way. But I would have sworn I felt it moving inside me.

It's a blast when a pet doesn't pull out the "it's bad for you" card and just shuts up and is a good ashtray. But, I treat it as an acceptable limit. I draw the line at putting out my cigarette in the mouth or worse, having them swallow the filter. Fiberglass is not your friend.

Still not a fetish though, maybe a kink.

Crown Royal or Chivas for me. In a chilled glass, neat. My Johnny Walker Gold stays in the freezer. (If you ever see the Johnny Walker Scotch tasting events, go to them. They're awesome & you do get free scotch samples.)

I love a cigar for the taste and aroma. I smoke menthol cigarettes for the taste, not the sex appeal.

You are quite welcome. I'm actually surprised that RS didn't put it up there first, as he's generally more knowledgeable about the proper terms for fetishes than I am.

FR
The photographer Helmet Newton said smoking was
sexual when a woman did it. One of his most striking
and sexy images is of his wife smoking. It was a impromptu
shot taken after they had finished a candlelight dinner.
He told her to open her blouse and he took the photo which
is her bare breasted and lighting a cigarette. Very beautiful
photo.

Movies from the golden age had a lot of sexy smoking scenes.
One of the most famous ones was from Now Voyager when
Paul Henreid lit a cigarette with his mouth and then gave it
to Bette Davis. Sexual undertones obvious. Bette was a great
onscreen smoker. She said later she didn't inhale. Then there
are various scenes of the man lighting the cigarette while its
between her lips as she lightly touches his hand or wrist and
slowly exhales smoke. Or the woman puts the cigarette between
her lips and wags it at the man inviting him to light it for her.
Some of the rituals of smoking are flirty and sexy.

I never felt smoking was sexy when I did it other than it was
a outlet for my oral fixation. I did have a man tell me once
in a amused way that after watching me suck greedily on a
ciggie he found himself thinking of other things.

It is a fetish and not just of the human ashtray kind.
But smoking is a an awful monkey to have on your
back and after getting it off me my desire to do it
for kicks is nil.

bloomswell -> RE: Smoking fetish question for women (10/8/2013 5:17:48 PM)

My mother, sisters and aunts all smoked and so I tend to feel more relaxed and secure around smoking women. I think I get a 'reassured' feeling rather than a sexy feeling although there is a sexy element to it. Because the women in my family were strong I associate it with dominance and control. I admit that this imprinting goes against any practical health guidelines (I don't smoke myself and I wouldn't like my kids to smoke) but the pattern is here to stay and I live with it.

Kana -> RE: Smoking fetish question for women (10/8/2013 5:21:26 PM)

Funny thing-this always seems to me to be pretty much a one way fetish. Men like seeing women smoke, for some reason they think it's sexy, but it doesn't work the other way around at all

frazzle -> RE: Smoking fetish question for women (10/8/2013 5:37:11 PM)

Some men see a female smoking and replace their appendage with a cigarette, hence the hormone overload. females don't visualise the same.
