One of the core requirements for being a con is belief in conspiracy theories.
And like most superstitious people, there`s no need to make sense or prove anything.
The "liberal media" for example......allows conservatives to lie and misrepresent news stories to favor republicans, on their claim the MSM has a liberal bias......without ever giving examples of the bias.
Beck and other cons like him, thrive on bombast and over-the-top antics, the more weird and ridiculous, the better.
Like when he said the President was racist against white people.......Cons love racial warfare and race-baiting and beck and fox news give them plenty of blood red meat.
