I have mixed feelings about this. One the one hand, Somalia is a pit of lawlessness, and I have no doubt that the pirate sponsors pay off terrorist groups. On the other hand, we're getting stretched kinda thin.

SEAL teams get in get this sort of job done and then get out they don't get stretched out by this sort of thing. Back when I knew them they viewed actual missions as something of a relief from training and yet more training.

I guess if operations tempo was very high they could get exhausted but it's actually been a while since we heard of any SEAL team operations and there doesn't seem to have been any "events" showing the SEALS "delicate touch" recently.
