After Reading the thread Mod One started on beading. I thought I'd ask who does what in terms of crafting. My dungeon doubles as a craft room. How's that for kinky. The bondage bed transforms into a work table, and the desk in the room that I've previous posted photos of is a work table as well, not to mention storage.

Polymer clay, beading,sewing, Celluclay, Raku pottery, and soon making glass beads are my hobbies. The polymer clay is my Hot thing at the moment. I love that stuff!. I think it would be awesome to know other kinky crafters in may area, I can't bring just anyone into my craft room as it is hard to explain the dildo's and the whips next to the beads and the clay.

So what all is everyone into?

I do some knitting and crocheting...mostly crochet afghans and knit mittens.

Stamping - limited
Decopage
Ceramics - used to teach this
Wood - painting
Leather - been a while
Wreaths
Glass painting

yadda, yadda, yadda lol It would have been easier to say, I do it all but knit or crochet. I can't walk into a Michael's or Hobby Lobby and make it out under an hour. lol I can pretty much watch someone demo something once, and recreate it. Or see something in a catalog or store and do the same.

Lordy. I'm a craft freak.

I sew-
~corsets for myself for fun (I suck at this. I am getting better)
~reinactment clothes for myself, my partner and our friend. (three vastly different time periods, too, it's -way- fun)
~presents for friends, blankets, throws, curtains, blah.

I crochet, passably.

I bead (with pre-made beads) passably.

I'm experementing with macarame jewelry right now.

I LOVE to collage and decoupage.

I do huge amounts of emboridery on said reinactment clothing.

I'm working on leather burning now, but my tools keep dying.

I watercolor...passably. This is FUN and I'd love to afford the supplies to get more practice.

I also stencil and modify shirts. (-great- gifty thing)

I -like- to craft. :) I have yet to find a medium I dislike except for scrapbooking which for some reason never appealed.

Ohh gawwdd... *laughs*

I kind of have this obsession with a glue gun. I love it! the problem lies in this though...i don't really have alot of things to use it on. I love to get beads when i can and put them together...form things/art. I am decorating The Man's house right now for Christmas and ohhhhhh lemme' tell y'all....i am glue gun happy!
I have found things to glue that even i am amazed at *beamz proudly* uhhhh, come to think about this....could this be some kind of fetish? (i do like to see how much of the heat from the glue i can handle on my skin...then peal it off) LOL!

I like to draw, paint ...sketch. But it is just a hobby mostly.
I have worked some in beading but not very good (chubby fingers i guess lol)
I have learned this unusual talent of taking old cans (IE coffee cans, vegetable cans, soup cans...etc) and with this special type of tool make tin furniture like rocking chairs, tables.
Crochet and embroider when i have the patience lol.

I used to do counted cross stitch before I lost my patience and eyesight. I like to use recycled things. I took an old bowling ball and glued broken pieces of a favorite lamp that the dog got tangled up in, then grouted it and now it's in my yard as yard art. I like paper crafts, stamping and using found objects.

I really only indulge in counted cross stitch but it must be said I get NO pleasure from pricking my finger with the needle!!!!!!!!!

I do many things, although none of them extremely well.

Kint and crochet
draw (mostly charcoal and pastels) and paint (oils and watercolors)
jewelry making (beads and stones)
pastry making (yes, I consider that an art

)
pottery and ceramics
sewing (both by hand and by machine)
and all the crafts that I teach to the kids! (I work at a preschool)

I build computers in my spare time. Don't consider that a craft though.
I've made a few quilts. None lately. I have to have a reason to make one.
Baked goods and candies on the holidays.
