Greetings to all.

I'm a 43-year-old writer and editor in a vanilla marriage that looks like it's heading toward divorce -- in part because of my desire to explore the Dominant side of myself with a submissive woman. (My wife is firmly committed to equality in absolutely everything, inside and outside of the bedroom. Plus she has a very low sex drive, and contends with shame wrapped up with sex from a Catholic upbringing.)

Anyway, I'm hoping to meet a woman (preferably also married) who wants to explore something similar. But it's proving to be quite a challenge, here, at Fetlife, and Ashley Madison (where I also have accounts). Just like in the vanilla world, most women want an unmarried man for a long-term relationship. That's perfectly understandable. But it leaves me stuck and lonely.

I'd love to meet some friends here, too, and learn about the lifestyle. So please write me to say hello if you read this. Thanks.

Hello Steve and welcome to the forums the discussion side of the site.

A couple of things you may not wish to hear. Many on this side frown on cheating and let it be well known, just a heads up. What you seeking does not happen on this side it happens over on the dating side. Not many if any will write you from this side....

The GOOD news is....this side is a great place for learning as it has many people with a vast amount of knowledge on any subject. They are mostly friendly though we have a few that may not be as friendly as others.

The best way to get to know those here is to jump in and join in on some of the discussions. I am one of those who does not believe in cheating so though I can not wish you well with that I can wish you well with learning and making friends. Hope you enjoy your time well here.
