This is not meant to be fastidious or snarky, The term lil one/little one has been used in some mail I've received. Now it could be meant affectionately as the mail was complimentary, Or was an inability to comprehending my profile, Lack of knowledge, and/or experience. I've noticed it tends to be older dom men say fiftyish in age, To me the term is related to daddy dom/baby girl dynamic or age play. What say you?

I haven't noticed it much for initiating age play, but moreso for...being sneaky with newbies. (Staring a mild power exchange without someone's consent; trying to push them into sub frenzy.)

It's irritating but sometimes guys send those kinds of notes to me, or approach me that way privately in a chatroom. I laugh at their antics and tell them they are barking up the wrong tree.

I am into d/s and still find it condescending as all hell coming from a random internet stranger.

That.

Although, to be fair, I still struggle with saying "good girl" to Carol even though I know she loves hearing it.

I just call everyone "Dave". Makes life simpler.

I nominate that for SQOTD.

MsTanner -> RE: Understanding Terms (10/9/2013 7:49:14 PM)

Thank you for your replies, My perception was like many here it was presumptuous and condescending.
While I did think of stature it hardly applies to me, I stand 5'10" barefooted the average height of a woman is 5'4" for men it's 5'9".
Sense stature was brought up, There seems to be a growing phenomenon here with most men being 6' or more.

How well I know, Would make thing's a little awkward when meeting though....

SerWhiteTiger -> RE: Understanding Terms (10/9/2013 8:27:57 PM)

Yeah, guys tend to add 2 inches to both their height and their penis size. Especially if they're under 6' and 6".

Well, if they wear shoes that add one inch, they can just fake the other with hair.

MsTanner -> RE: Understanding Terms (10/9/2013 8:35:44 PM)

Might be a problem if no hair and I wear 3" heels.....

MalcolmNathaniel -> RE: Understanding Terms (10/9/2013 8:41:24 PM)

That is fascinating. Of course I am a math geek so the statistics, more importantly the correct use of statistics, is really interesting to me.

I met a guy that described himself as tall, dark and handsome. When we met, I was in loafers and we were the same height. (I'm 5'6") He was very handsome. He couldn't understand why I wouldn't even sit down and have coffee with him. He couldn't understand that it wasn't the height, it was the lie and I wasn't about to start a relationship with someone that thought it was okay to lie to me and explain it away later.

Did the report use stats correctly?

Ha. I am very tall too, so that term lil one always was odd to me, and weird. Its like owning a Rottweiler and naming it Tiny. [:D]

MsTanner -> RE: Understanding Terms (10/10/2013 6:44:46 AM)

Ok but adding 2" to 5'9" still falls short of 6'.....Oh how well I know some are quite proud of their male appendage displaying it in there profile sending pics with mail. Even giving a detailed description of it, the ability to last like the EverReady Buddy and it's ability to produce mass amounts of sexual fluids.....

To be fair, he probably shrank down quite a lot when you jumped naked out of a bush at him.

myotherself -> RE: Understanding Terms (10/10/2013 11:10:56 PM)

I met with a guy who described himself as 5 feet 7, which was ok since I'm only 5 feet 3 (and a half). He also said he worked out 5 days a week and struggled to find shirts to fit his chest.

I deliberately wore flat shoes, but when we met he wasn't even as tall as me! And he was tiny. China-doll tiny. Teeny tiny little hands and feet. His chest measurement was about the same as my waist, and I had a small waist. I could have picked him up and tucked him in my handbag and not noticed he was there after a while.

He did have big hair though, Lots of gel, lots of spikes. An effect that was somewhat spoiled by the bald patch in the middle.

*sigh*..

Some guys have a hard time meeting women, so they add some inches, thinking that that will increase their chances of meeting women. They haven't seen far enough ahead to realize that that will be a problem when they DO meet women.

MasterCaneman -> RE: Understanding Terms (10/11/2013 7:16:10 AM)

Well, before my back surgery, I was 6'. I've lost an inch and half since then. Does that count?

Perhaps he had shorter brothers?
