I'm not sure if this is a common bondaage item or activity, but I've noticed in some bondage scenes the use of restrictive mittens or wrapping of the subject's hands. This can take the form of an oven mit or something more elaborate; e.g. a boxing glove without the thumb exposed. Is hand bondage commonly used and has anyone experimented with the glove taking different forms or attaching things to them?

For eels, it is a method that makes it harder to escape. Actually you just need to disable the prehensile grip (their thumbs).

I've not experimented with them yet, but the idea is becoming more appealing to me, especially with these padded mitts.

I quite like them, mainly because my wrists are quite flexible and I can undo knots quite easily - so when I can't physically manipulate the restraints it adds that extra sense of being controlled.
