How many feel that is it important to gain skills and create a non-sexual service oriented resume for their Master (gender neutral term)?

How many do this even if they DON’T currently have a Master?

If you don’t, why not?

Very, very important to me.

I see my service as something to make his life better, easier, and more pleasurable. Sure, a lot of that can happen in bed ( :) ) but a lot can happen out of bed to.

I'm not in a position, yet, to take classes to teach me new skills, but I do other things to hone them. I love to cook, and constantly expose myself to new recipies. I just learned how to bake. We're invovled in medieval recreation, so I've taken over the sewing and decoration of his clothing. I'm not very skilled at it, but I give a decent massage.

I've noticed that my skills are all sensual ones. I think that relates largely to the kind of person my partner is and what makes him happy. Well, that and where we are in our lives. Right now, learning how to file taxes or do household accounts isn't very important. Still, ask me again in 5 years :)

On a personal level I believe that it is my responsibility and even duty(not sure if thats the right word) to become more aware of any skill I can learn within my submission unless it is against my Masters wishes. If a skill is learnt then it is done so to serve my Master better... but I will always remember that any skill learnt is only a skill that can be enhanced ultimately by my Masters teachings and the skill He has which allows me such growth for Him.

I don't look at my slavery as a job, thus have no need for a resume. As a *person* I believe strongly that everyone should do things to improve themselves for their own phsysical, mental and emotional well being. This applies equally to dominants. A successful relationship of any kind has need for people willing to *try*....

Hmmm, doing such a thing never even crossed my mind...
I've always worked under the assumption that anyone in my life should like me for me, and not for what I have to offer (that's what's always counted for me with others).

And I always knew that any man I'd want to call Master would also like me for me, and not what I could do for him.. and that I'd feel the same way about him.

Now that I have found my Master, it's important for me to please him and make him happy... so I try my hardest to do so. But it's about *him* and how I can please *him* ... not a general resume-type thing.

I respect anyone who wants to do this, but it's just not who/how I am.. :) ~daisy~

greetings to you ....I feel the most important thing to establish before any sub role is creating a bond & trust with the Dom, Meaning having your needs met outside that of sub. Mine was/is open communication, and love both ways, if a Dom isnt interested to getting to know the whole package, such as my personality and more then I know thats not the perfect Dom for me. Establishing a non sexual foundation together is what makes everything else fall into place easily. I have met such a Dom, very proud to say, most honored to be under collar of consideration. Because of his compassion & desire to know all about me, makes it so easy for me to give him my all.

I think if most are true to themselves, they'll enjoy most of the non-sexual related things anyway. I've always enjoyed cooking, and the ability to give pleasure by a simple massage has always intrigued me, so i think naturally, the things that would look good on my resume, i like to do anyway. We always seem to get better at the things we like to do.

What i bring to the table is already "me".
