realrabidmoogle -> Crops, whips, paddles, slappers? (7/1/2006 8:38:44 PM)

I'm not sure on the best phrasing for this question but... What works best on striking the inner thigh? I have a playmate with very sensitive thighs, she can climax just by having them stroked.  She has also confessed that it hurts more when I strike there than on her butt. So I was wondering if anyone knew of some good tools for this, cause so far I've only used my hand and a hairbrush. I'm new to the lifestyle and sort on funds, so I'm slowly buying equipment. I'd hate to waste money on something that won't work well for that application. Any help is appreciated.

try any kitchen implement like a spatula etc

A rubber spatula from your kitchen is a good place to start.  A riding crop is another inexpensive starter toy, but you'll want to shop around for one, and find one with a nice wide leather slapper on it.  Many of the cheap riding crops have a very thin, small slapper which tends to be a bit too stingy.

If you want to spend a few dollars, my favorite guy for leather slappers of all varieties is www.thelondontanners.com.

One thing to mention is that it's the user, not the implement that controls most sensation. The nice part of that is that you can let your imagination go and try all sorts of things. That said, one small piece of advice for you if you're considering a crop or three, get thee to a tack store. Tack shops carry better quality by and large and with much lower prices than the "fetish toy stores". Usually there's a better selection as well.

<waves to the Sadist>  Well said!

Living in an area where tack-stores (ranch-supply stores?) are as abundant as hardware stores, I was going to add that suggestion as well.  I’ve seen the same crop offered at a fetish site for over $25, only to find the same thing for $7 at a saddle shop.

Also, your hand would work quite well, too (gloved or not)! Spatulas, wooden spoons, new ‘paint-sticks’, smaller floggers, canes or thin, whippy dowels, the back of a hairbrush, the other side of a hairbrush….Yup, lots of things work.

In that you are new, I'd like to state that if you 'warm' your partner up a bit you'll be able to go farther.  In other words...start slow and build on how hard you use your 'toys'.  When switching toys, do the same...don't go from somewhat hard slapping, with your hand or a crop, to hard slapping with a cane; build-up again.  Keep those endorphines flowing!  :)

Smiles glad to hear others know and use tack shops.  I go in to get something for the horses and come out smiling with my own ideas of what those things should be used for.  And yes they are usually good quality with less prices.  Of course i keep hearing the term Dom Depot to so will try there next for toys.

I adore a good tack shop! I have found some pretty interesting things there! My favorite was a mean as hell quirt! The greatest part was that I am pretty sure the guy behind the counter figured out why I wanted it, and gave me a great discount on top of their already reasonable prices!

well anything your imagination can come with will work its how you use them...my pet hated going shopping till i started going from dept. to dept. experimenting with various items from kitchen to toys and anywhere in between...

Alot of the suggestions here are real good ones. I'm all about the tack shop! I also find really nice stuff at my local feed store, this is a farming area, very inexpensive and great quality that lasts for years.  A couple of things I've used from around the house and found extremely effective are the little wooden slat in the bottom of a pull down shade and a good ol' fashion peeled switch be careful with the switch though because if you're too heavy handed you can cut the skin.....

KenDckey -> RE: Crops, whips, paddles, slappers? (7/2/2006 1:55:39 PM)

Tack Shops, Home Depot, Harbor Freight and Dollar Stores are my favorite places to find inexpensive toys.  I had an old blind that I used part of to make a cane (nice thing about it is it bounces when used and doesn't break).  Quirts make great toys - from the tack store.  Sheesh   sounds like it is time to go shopping again.

MstrDouglas -> RE: Crops, whips, paddles, slappers? (7/2/2006 2:26:47 PM)

A perfect inexpensive paddle.......a kids paddleball, the round paddle with a ball attached by a rubber band.  Usually you can find them at the Dollar stores or almost any toy department.  Just remember to pull the staple out when you remove the rubber band and ball from the paddle, unless your slave/sub is really into pain, then leave it in.
Farm supply stores are another really good sourse of "toys" and accessories, including materials for the DIY projects, and they are usually very inexpensive compared to fetish suppliers.

wow, thanks. I wasn't expecting so many ideas. I knew about warm-up, it can just be hard to hold myself back, every other girl I've been with would usually say enough of this weird stuff about three or four slaps in. So now that I have myself a true submissive (fyi MstrDouglas, she's a painslut) I sometimes have a hard time not going overboard. Thanks again for all the ideas, I'll have to stop by some of the many farm supply places around and see what I can come up with.

Dont forget to intersperse pain with other sensations. There are slappers with leather on one side and fur on the other.
