Kirata -> Mental Health (10/8/2013 10:03:02 PM)

You know what they say, the truly insane don't know it. That's the way it happened with me. I only just noticed...

Hey! Does this mean I'm immune to prosecution? [:D]

K.

Your catch 22 score says "no".

SerWhiteTiger -> RE: Mental Health (10/8/2013 11:20:35 PM)

So, if I know I'm insane, does that mean I'm sane or just less insane? Like maybe I'm a 6 on the Kinsey Insanity Scale?

Kirasen -> RE: Mental Health (10/8/2013 11:42:24 PM)

Scientists believe that every person has a mental issue...

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: Mental Health (10/8/2013 11:45:24 PM)

Catch 23?

DesFIP -> RE: Mental Health (10/9/2013 10:56:30 AM)

It's not the people with diagnoses you have to worry about. It's the ones who ought to be on meds but believe that as long as they aren't diagnosed, there's nothing wrong with them.

Like not getting a colonoscopy when you see bloody stools. It doesn't mean you don't have colon cancer. It just means you're less likely to survive it.

Kirata, congrats. I still have a loooong way to go to get there.....

which of course is hilarious considering recent findings (not studies) considering the MEDICAL PROFESSION and the people prescribing meds and getting uppity and snarky with patients who are then investigated and upon conclusions of investions upon the uppity-arses, their own community admits "we should not have allowed them to keep practicing, or have been practicing in the first place."

Okay, I can now translate this.

'Which, of course, is hilarious considering recent findings (not studies) concerning the MEDICAL PROFESSION, and the people prescribing meds, getting uppity and snarky with patients. Then, those people prescribing the meds are investigated, and upon conclusion of those investigations, their own community admits "we should not have allowed them to keep practicing, or have been practicing in the first place."'

You're only immune until you quit drinking. It doesn't work on drunks.

Well, considering that insanity is actually a legal term and not a medical one....I'd say....no.

Said Pennywise dresses as Matt Lillard.

I mean, how existentialistically PERFECT is THAT?

\

Or snarks, who as addicted to passive aggresties as a drinking Irish is to the bottle.

Difference is, the Irish can give up the bottle and actually mean something to the world at large, whereas the passive aggressive is merely a tapeworm in the gut of the world. [;)]

Well, I started thinking I'm a tiger.

It's kinda like I'm both Calvin and Hobbes!

Then again, I guess he was too. So I guess I just have an active imagination.

Sanity is for the weak...
