What you like in a leash is up to the individuals involved. Go to a pet store and look at your options, since that's where I suggest you shop for one. You will find a wide variety and the quality is usually very good, since it's a leash actually designed to do something. When shopping think of what *you* want to do with the leash. Do you want to haul someone around on their hands and knees or lead them gently? Do you want to wrap it around your hand? Use it as a flogger at times? What's more important, the quality of how it's made, or the look? Then shop accordingly.
