MrRodgers -> Are you taking your gold ? (10/9/2013 8:26:42 PM)

The body is made up to an extent of neurons all of which respond to a very small electrical charge. For that to occur the body requires what is know as electrolytes.

Electrolytes are chemical/fluids of catalyzed metals that conduct electricity. That's why our supplements contain them but one is missing...gold.

The best electrical conductor is gold so I take metatonic gold and only one small dose a day.

Now I want to know from all of neuron experts, do you believe this shit ? I simply can't if only because I just can't see how would they ever actually use the gold that is constantly being passed through my system. Seems to me even if true, there isn't enough and most of the words they use are very conceptually vague.

I haven't yet grasped the concept of Molecular Compaction and how this supplement allegedly hurts DNA. What say you experts out here?

Electrolytes are salts. When Gatorade advertises that it has "electrolytes" it just means that it is flavored water with salt in it.

Drinking gold is a scam. There is no evidence that drinking gold salts is going to improve your health. You are being scammed. The name "metatonic" should have clued you in.

Gold is a very good conductor. However too much conduction results in a short circuit, do you want your brain shorted out? You are being scammed.

Wow, then millions are being scammed. Electrolytes are of course required but form the electrochemicals necessary for the nervous system.

Don't know of a single multi vitamin that does not include such metals as iron, magnesium, manganese, chromium, selenium and phosphorus. They are in there because they are cheap electrolytes once dissolved in digestion.

Don't have metals in your blood ? Then very likely...you are dying. All of which are oxidized and absorbed. Gold is just the best electrolyte there is and far too expensive to include in such drinks as Gatorade.

Gold is hardly a salt, it is a metal.

Can I extract gold from my body and replace it with Gatorade?

So does this mean Goldschläger is good for my health?

To the OP - No, those metals are in there because certain metals are essential nutrients in small quantities and you get deficiency syndromes if you run too low, a common one being iron-deficiency anemia. They're also all toxic if you overdose. Gold isn't very reactive - this, in addition to rarity, is part of why it's useful as a jewelry metal; it doesn't tarnish easily. You can't even dissolve it with most corrosive acids, including hydrochloric acid in your stomach. So plain gold is much less likely than others to make you sick, but since it doesn't take part in chemical reactions inside your body, it's not going to do anything good, either. It's only useful for keeping your wallet from becoming obese.

When I saw this thread, all I thought of was this:

The best, as in most practical, way for the body to absorb precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum/palladium is to wear it in jewelry against your bare skin. Not to mention the aesthetic beauty and investment value of owning such jewelry.

Copper also has reputed therapeutic value in treating arthritis, etc., however copper and sterling silver tarnish (but sterling mixed w/Palladium alloy works well) and are not therefore good choices for everyday wear 24/7. If you can get your hands on it, gold jewelry should be 24kt (or the Asian 99.9999% purity), second choice 18kt European standard purity, then our American standard 14kt. 10kt gold is better than nothing.

Go back to high school and retake chemistry.

Sodium is a metal. One with very amusing results when mixed with water. Sodium Chloride is a salt. In fact it's table salt. Get fancy with sodium and you end up with Monosodium Glutimate (MSG) - another salt.

Potassium is a metal. Potassium Chloride is a salt.

Copper is a metal. Copper Sulfate is a salt. I don't suggest putting it on your eggs.

Let me use small words here: You. Are. Being. Scammed.

wittynamehere -> RE: Are you taking your gold ? (10/10/2013 12:07:46 PM)

Fast reply.
I agree with "go back to chemistry". OP, you clearly haven't got a clue what you're talking about. You're making medical decisions based on emotions and misinformation. Yikes. The only thing in your post that was right as far as I can see is that gold (wire) is the best electrical conductor. Please don't magically assume that means if you eat gold flakes you'll have a faster nervous system.
As for "The best, as in most practical, way for the body to absorb precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum/palladium is to wear it in jewelry against your bare skin" I think you should look up the word "colloidal". Throw the word silver or gold into the search as well.

Operative word here being "practical"--not the fastest or most effective delivery system. Wearing precious metal jewelry is practical, nothwithstanding the cost of procuring such jewelry at the onset (ever heard of family heirlooms?).

Thanks though for this opportunity for me to add that Rose Gold jewelry will give the wearer the desirable added element of copper. Avoid jewelry which contains nickel for hypoallergenic purposes.

Even if you could, it wouldn't be profitable. You'd be lucky to get a penny-worth of gold from a human body. Certainly not enough for a bottle of gatorade.
Note: this may not be true of the OP since he's apparently eating gold and probably has some trundling through the intestines.
