A disinterested observer would expect more from a country that touts itself as one of laws. Us Americans expect more but are just pissing in the wind. America used to be one but should be confirmed...is no longer.

Our founding fathers would have these people tarred and feathered then sent home bankrupt.

The elitist business men of this country predominantly bankers, are unrepentant, unmitigated, greedy, capitalist scum the biggest whores on two legs. When this reaches too far into fraud on a larger scale, be ready for TARP II. You should be for we've learned nothing, having nothing forced upon them.

If they do this to their customers, the country is just literally another profit center...waiting to happen. The mere fact that TARP I caused nobody even prosecuted to date but one poor patsy jailed for his master's sins to tell you there is no hope with these thieves. Here

Got this in an email... not sure where to put it....

The American Medical Association has weighed in on the new health care package.
The Allergists were in favor of scratching it, but the Dermatologists advised not to make any rash moves.
The Gastroenterologist had sort of a gut feeling about it, but the Neurologists thought the Administration
had a lot of nerve.
Meanwhile, Obstetricians felt certain everyone was laboring under a misconception,
while the Ophthalmologists considered the idea shortsighted.

Pathologists yelled, "Over my dead body!" while the Pediatricians said, "Oh, grow up!"
The Psychiatrists thought the whole idea was madness while the Radiologists could see right through it.
Surgeons decided to wash their hands of the whole thing and the Internists claimed it would
indeed be a bitter pill to swallow.
The Plastic Surgeons opined that this proposal would "put a whole new face on the matter".
The Podiatrists thought it was a step backward, and the Urologists were pissed off at the whole idea.
Anesthesiologists thought the whole idea was a gas, and those lofty Cardiologists didn't have the heart to say no.

In the end, the Proctologists won out, leaving the entire decision up to the assholes in Washington.

I am scratching my head, just what Big Oil existed during the time of our country's founding and I am not so sure what that has to do with the conflict of interest and fraud in the investment banking community ?

Oil companies now have properly (for oligopoly profits) consolidated about as much as they can, although I am pretty sure our justice dept. would look the other way if say Exxon and Chevron wanted to merge. Now with that of course, our whores on wall street could use their inside info. to take advantage and...they would.

The first modern investment banking firm was created during the civil war to secure financing for the north to pursue the war.
