Amazingly accurate, so many people tell me. It was uncannily good on me. A quick test, organising colours, and you'll get a summation of your character on a scale of:

Balanced - Mostly Balanced but Occasionally Moody - Frequently over-emotional - Disturbed - Probably Suffering From Psychotic Disorder - American.

I just tried it - only about half right for me.
So.... not very accurate.

theshytype -> RE: The Luscher Colour Test (10/11/2013 4:21:31 PM)

Well, I wouldn't say amazingly accurate. I'm a huge skeptic of any personality tests but do find them entertaining.
About the only two descriptors I can say sound like me are:

"she is able to find satisfaction and happiness through sexual activity" - it is my favorite form of stress reduction, and

"Has a strong desire to contribute and influence others, but it can make her restless. she is driven by her desires and hopes. Enjoys a wide range of activities, but she may spread herself to thin taking on too much."

kalikshama -> RE: The Luscher Colour Test (10/11/2013 4:27:48 PM)

I didn't find much of this to fit me. I guess I picked luxury colors but I actually live pretty simply.

Your Existing Situation

"Inclined to choose luxurious things, which are gratifying to the senses. Turned off by things which are tacky and tasteless."

Your Stress Sources

"Recent disappointments and failures have led her to be overly cautious. Needs to feel secure and safe from being further let down, looked over, or losing respect. Has no hope that things will get better, mostly because she makes irrational demands on others and refuses to compromise."

Your Restrained Characteristics

"Finds satisfaction in sexual activity, but is emotionally detached which prevents her from becoming too involved."

"Struggles to make her demands clear, but feels ignored. Feels resentful, but acts as if she doesn't care, doing what is necessary to keep peace."

He is being forced to be happiness and pleasure on hold for new due to her limiting circumstances.

"Believes her hopes and dreams are realistic and sticks to them stubbornly, even though circumstances are forcing her to compromise. Very precise in the qualities she seeks in a partner."

"Believes her hopes and dreams are realistic and sticks to them stubbornly, even though circumstances are forcing her to compromise. Very precise in the qualities she seeks in a partner."

Your Desired Objective

"Finds pleasure in the finer things of life. Wishes to over-indulge in a lavish, luxurious lifestyle."

Your Actual Problem

"Is disappointed and let down, feels there is no point in making new goals as they will leave her feeling the same way. Looking for friendly, pleasant relationships with others, who will further develop her intellect. she tries to escape into a fantasy world where things go her way and her desires are easier to reach."

Your Actual Problem #2

Fears others will try to hold her back from achieving her goals and the things she wants. Puts on the charm and can be manipulative towards others hoping she can get them to do as she wishes and making it easier for her to reach her own goals.

It would appear that, with my green screen and 5 & 1/4" disks....I was asked to leave and never come back.

TreasureKY -> RE: The Luscher Colour Test (10/11/2013 4:56:55 PM)

I didn't find it accurate at all.

Well... that isn't quite right, either. It was correct in calling me, she/her in the descriptions. [:)]

MalcolmNathaniel -> RE: The Luscher Colour Test (10/11/2013 5:32:38 PM)

If you find that accurate you should read "Star Signs" by Linda Goodman. It is absolutely accurate.

In fact you will find all that 12 signs match you almost exactly.

"What? How can a book be that accurate about me?"

Because it uses open ended language that describes everyone.

Winterapple -> RE: The Luscher Colour Test (10/11/2013 6:41:27 PM)

FR
Also got very emotional and artistic which is true.
In addition despite applying tough standards for
potential partners and demanding a unrealistic perfection
in my sex life I am able to find pleasure and happiness
in sexual activity.

I love quizzes.

kdsub -> RE: The Luscher Colour Test (10/11/2013 7:42:45 PM)

If that test is right...man I am screwed up!!!

igor2003 -> RE: The Luscher Colour Test (10/11/2013 8:34:07 PM)

I'd say it was about 75% accurate for me. Not bad, but not really impressive.

DesFIP -> RE: The Luscher Colour Test (10/11/2013 9:34:14 PM)

Needs a safe, peaceful atmosphere

That's the only line that actually applies to me. I dislike loud noises.

But I think it was distorted by the fact that I just don't like yellow in anything but a daffodil. I don't use it on walls or upholstery, I don't wear it. Yellow is for nature in my book. But as it's a bright color, the test assumes that since I don't gravitate towards it I must be an extremely unhappy person.

And it doesn't take into effect the fact that colors appear quite differently on different monitors. So I might well have made totally different choices if on The Man's computer instead.

Here's another personality test, albeitĀ of a different kind, if anyone's game.

TigressLily -> RE: The Luscher Colour Test (10/12/2013 1:15:37 AM)

At first I thought I was doing something wrong until I kept on selecting every color block! Thanks, Peon, really cool test.

"Longs for relationships which are understanding and relatively conflict-free."
(Can't argue with that.)

"Avoids pressure from others and insists on developing her individual independence....has a hard time admitting she is wrong."
(Yep....Not possible.)

"she is able to find satisfaction and happiness through sexual activity."
(Amen.)

"Emotional and sensitive and romantic."
(Hush-sh, don't let that get out.)

"Impressed by unique and one of a kind things, and by people with exceptional personalities."
(Always)

"Longs the freedom to make her own decisions and plans without the criticism and restrictions."
(And, your point is? Oh, that is the point.)

Holy crap I hope it's not accurate.

Apparently I'm easily influenced, but want to follow my own heart. I feel ignored and resentful and can't make my demands known. I pretend everything's ok just to keep the peace and I become emotionally involved because I feel so alone. I feel forced to make bargains and push my own needs aside.

Oh, but I am helpful.

TNDommeK -> RE: The Luscher Colour Test (10/12/2013 2:55:56 AM)

Yea not accurate at all for me. But then again, I like weird colors

Ya, I picked the colors I like to wear and yellow is not one of them. I do love it in daffodils though!

PyrotheClown -> RE: The Luscher Colour Test (10/14/2013 4:16:57 PM)

um...I'm partially color blind

PyrotheClown -> RE: The Luscher Colour Test (10/14/2013 4:25:55 PM)

""Is lazy when it comes to further himself or his career and lacks the ambition to change things. Does not like to put to much effort into things, except sexual activity. He would rather feel comfort and security, than success."

Well,it's allmost accurate
