Mister Man and I have been living together now in my home for 5 months now. He moved from 3 provinces over after we reconnected 3 months earlier. We had originally met IRL 2 1/2 yrs previously when I traveled to meet at his home 3 times. We both felt now was our time, and to take advantage of it. Yes, he had some explaining to do, and regain my trust but that was done before he moved in with me. We not only love each other but are IN love with each other. And for the first time in all my dating life my family agrees that I've found a keeper. It's taken me 33 looong years to find him. Neither one of us is letting go of the other.

I think re- locating is definitely an option for a LDR. But only after it has solidified. Traveling back and forth can be made "romantic." Especially if both of you know that one of you COULD eventually move. If neither of you can move, it gonna be tough. And $ for the first visit???? Up front??? Duh...:does not even need a response.

Man this is a tight B/bunch!! However it is what it is. "Willing to relocate" is just that "They can pick up and leave where they are to come to You." "Relocate Me" is "Your going to move them to get them there to where You are". Now for My two cents, I will pay for air fare or a bus ticket for her to get to Me, in a none-transferable, 10 day refundable. I will not pay for her return. If she pays for her travel to Me, I will pay for her travel away from Me. It is only fair. I will not in any way send cash, donate cash, transfer to a bank account, transfer to a green dot, or any other means for her to receive directly from Me the funds. If she is in need of funds she can sell her belongings. or take up My offer of transportation and have her children/family/friends watch over the belongings for her at her expense. If she needs the funds so bad I am lead to ask WTF are you on a site with wifi if your so broke? Scammers are abound U/us just check My journal.. LOL.. Some will not pay a penny to relocate and will only give half the cost in return fare. But it is entirely up to Your discretion if You are willing to invest in someone or loss funds. That is all.

I have paid airfare a couple of . . . three times. Never been burned and all three initial meetings/dates went very well. 2 of the 3 times it turned into a relationship that lasted a few years. On the other hand, I have had my share of fake email from scammers.
