It's not my place to decide what to share, and I hope he'll find his way to us soon enough, but if others were wondering (worrying) about DC as I have been, he has been heard from, and has moved into the next phase of his recovery.

My good thoughts are still flowing his way. I hope yours are too,

Indeed not.

After three weeks in a Philly hospital, I'm now at my brother's place in CT, basking in familial TLC and slowly growing stronger. Walker in hand, my sister-in-law and I did a lap around a local mall today.

Hardest parts are brutal fatigue and inability to sit comfortably. Silver lining: finally saw all three episodes of Downton Abbey.

Thanks and love to you all!

Good to hear from you dcnovice...I hope you are doing well with the nuts and bolts of your temporary situation. In the mean time you have free license to be a crotchety old coot and knock people out of the way with the walker and cane.

I'm so glad you're coming along, DC. Keep up the good work!
I'm hoping to rewatch Downton during the Christmas break. It's a great show.
