This is weird... there were leaks about this a couple of weeks ago... which I paid no attention to. I can confirm I saw the infowars articles around sept 3 - and another article. dadefensa saying on or near charleston...

I'm no fan of Obama, but really...If the Russians found out we had a President willing to do something that stupid for political gain, I'd understand them launching. All that would be needed would be for a boat to go out and take samples of the area for fission by-products. 1 KT is a pipsqueak, and to be honest, I don't think we even have anything that small in the inventory, aside from The Davy Crockett and the various 155mm and 8 inch tactical rounds, of which I doubt any exist now. There is also a minimum size that's required for a weapon to go critical reliably, which is why they didn't put too much into the smaller tac nukes.

Its kinda hard to hide a nuclear detonation, there is the seismic footprint, the EMP foot print, and even an underwater detonation has a hell of a splash (I have the movie "Trinity and Beyond.) The nuclear depth charge test shot some distance off the Pacific Coast had a hell of a splash and it was five hundred feet under water. Sorry, but while I believe that Obama is an idiot, I dont believe he is that big of an idiot.
