Why cant the regulars, just not respond to questions they don't like??

So people have to discuss only what they like? The basic purpose of a discussion board is to discuss, I wasn't aware that posters could only post positively to threads. This principle would seem to be not something you yourself are doing at the moment...

The guidelines for the forums are clearly posted and state: "Please do not start a duplicate or similar thread if there is an active thread on the subject already or was fairly recently"

It is reasonable to expect newbies to follow the same guidelines that we enforce among the regulars. If they fail to read the guidelines then the onus falls upon the poster.

In this case it was pointed out to the OP that there were currently two threads currently open on the subject. He chose to carry on.
