It's bringing home tomato soup and grilled cheese fixings when I'm sick.
It's bringing home a bottle of wine when he knows I've had a busy day.
To take the Motorcycle course I had to have "a pair of sturdy shoes/boots that come up over the ankle and have a treaded sole". I was unhappy that everything was unfeminine and settled on Doc Martens. As a surprise, he brought those boots to a guy that does custom pinstriped shoes and got me pink shoe laces.
He snuggles. He rubs my back. He holds my hand. He makes me laugh. He sat with me for two days by my brother's hospital bed.
He just always lets me know that I'm a part of his life and he's thinking about me.
The cup of tea in my hand before I articulate or sometimes even know I want one. The 'just because' kiss, poetry or flowers. And of course, the OSODD without the demand ;-)
Brings dungeness crab fresh from SF, or has it shipped if he can't bring it himself. Does all the driving (I hate having to drive). Gets up early and makes sure my latte and a pastry is the first thing I see when I wake up late. Rubs my feet, scratches my back, massages my head. Loves the kitties as I do. Keeps my bicycle in good working order. Best of all, keeps in good touch literally and figuratively.
He'll be there for me, rub my temples, shoulders and back, do things for me, if I'm sick he'll make sure I have meds and food and such, he listens to me when I just want to rant, he'll go places with me even though I know he isn't interested, he'll be all gentle and loving....lots of kisses and snuggling and he makes sure I know just how much he loves and adores me.
Sometimes, he'll wash my hair in the shower which includes a salon-worthy scalp massage. I think that sticks out the most because no other person has ever done that for me. That, and it just feels like heaven.
