She's being racist and religionist on company time, using company equipment. Contact HR or your boss.

i'm not religious at all and there have been times when things have been bad for me that people have said that they will think of me in their prayers. I had a lovely lady do that for me from here about my insomnia even though I told her that I wasn't religious. However, her intentions were honourable as have been others that have done it for me, so I have accepted the thoughts. I do my own thing for people too such as I do for DCNovice, or others in need of healing or spiritual thoughts. they don't have to believe in what I do, but it's my intentions behind it.

on another site i'm a member of we did something called a rolling thunder where at a given time local to us we would all do our thing for a member. our 'things' were varied and not specific to the person intended for, but the intention behind everyone's thing was the same.

a self serving intention such as this lady at work is not Christian at all. She is not doing her thing for your sake she is doing it for herself. I doubt her God will be impressed even if he is listening to her ever incessant prattling. tell her that God expects her to turn the other cheek, and that Jesus was black. that will curdle her milk.

I would have been so tempted to stomp my foot, pout, and say in a whining voice, "But, that's MY job! He said I was the only one!"
Those types of people quickly stop talking to me.

Going to HR is better advice, though.

Ok, for ONE thing, in many instances a company will let someone go who is creating a hostile work environment for their coworkers. THIS IS WHY YOU REPORT IT TO YOUR MANAGER. If the manager does nothing, it's on THEM when you then have to go over their head to HR.

Secondly, AND THIS IS IMPORTANT....DON'T FEED THE TROLLS. If someone starts something, don't keep it going to and fro with comebacks, because guess what, when the conversation is reviewed later by supervisors, you will come out just as guilty as the one who started it (and the same goes for online spats). If the problem is bad enough, they may let BOTH of you go...so, DON'T RETORT, REPORT.

These types of people who detract from a company's efficiency and productivity by distracting other workers don't deserve jobs when there are other less drama-happy people needing employment.

I'm going to report it officially to my boss and hr. Today.
Lay boss and everyone else in the office just kind of does the eye roll and oh that's just x.
But. I'm really angry. She is spouting shite. If it was pure shite, well ok, but it's dangerous drivel. One of my coworkers is currently on antidepressants and in a very very dark place. If she spouted that to him it,could be the final straw.

(I stood in his office yesterday and thought he was having a breakdown. Also going to speak to hr about him.ut she shouldn't be allowed to get away with it) He shouldn't be in work)

But. I had anxiety problems for a while after my split from the ex husband. I was on sertraline for 6 months. So, as far as she is concerned I have or had an evil spirit possessing me? If I was still vulnerable that would be incredibly hurtful to me (I'm not. My head is fine and I'm sorted b

Someone from this site (we're friends on FB) got into a fit because a certain male texted her with vile retorts. Even though she is a Christian, she called for Kali.

I grabbed a pic and posted it, going "You rang?"

I am there for my friends, no matter what deity. But when you call up Kali, prepare for some shit...
