Hi people,

so, what I know about BDSM could be written on the back of a postage stamp, but I met a lady who explained to me that she is a really enthusiastic sub. I was totally honest about my total lack of experience, but she seemed to form the opinion that I could do dom for her, so we have a date set up when she'll 'open up her playroom'.

But this is kind of a "Catch 22" situation; she's an experienced sub, and in most other human activities, the novice would be the 'follower' but here I surely need to do some leading if this is going to work out well?

So I need some help to find "BDSM 101". I''ll be reading thro this forum, but whatever suggestions anyone can offer on the best websites to visit or any ideas suited to my situation would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Guillam and welcome to the forums. I have a friend that knows nothing of the BDSM realm of life either....but he is learning how to Dom pretty well. Let her teach you and then it will be right for the two of you. That would be my suggestion. Reading the forums comes in tops also and asking questions. Best of luck to you both.

Hello and welcome, and there's nothing wrong with hooking up with an experienced sub. The phrase "topping from the bottom" springs to mind. Roll with it, let her teach you things. It worked for me. Good luck.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I am older than she is and as for treachery, I have had bosses who were masters at the art so I'll just think of them. Besides which, she must have spotted something that she thought was promising or she'd not be wasting her time.

Is it possible that she's actually a dom and has already started the play and is already toying with me? Anyway, she is more than sufficiently attractive to want to find out.

Highly unlikely. I've never heard of a woman doing that before. If she wanted to dominate you, she would have been on the lookout for subliness traits and approached you differently. She's not out to 'stealth Domme' you. It may feel a bit awkward taking instruction from a bottom, but as MasterCaneman already mentioned, it isn't unusual whatsoever. You may also find you like switching Top/bottom roles, so give yourself that latitude as well.
