why does peepers like sittingin my hair? s/he climbed up my shoulder walked into my hair and sat down, twice. daddypulled s/he out of my hair and s/he walked p to my left shoulder an dug around into my hair an sat down and seems very content. s/he gets very upset when i ask it to leave my hair.

If the chick has imprinted on you it thinks you're its mother and wants to be close to you for safety.

I used to keep ratties and snakes in My hair. Not at the same time of course, that would be BAAAAAD.

Sadly no, we didn't get the babies early enough for imprinting. one is a month old already at the time we got it, while the others are just weeks old but i do talk to them and try to touch them and pla with them everyday.

I agree, but since these 3 are mine , they're exempt from becoming dinner. They're pets and not future food. I do not have any interest in butchering them just loving them and keeping them to their natural conclusion. And my Dad isn't going to be disrespectful enough just to take it upon himself to butcher them with out my permission

Because she loves her Mommy.

I've got 2...one, when I enter the house, whatever she's doing....she's on me. Game over.
