Redmagic1 I totally get your point. I have seen some people say they don't want this or that and need help with that, but really they are codependent. So you're right I am not sure about her situation persay, but I do know when a woman gets emotionally involved she is usually trying to hang on...and if the guy can get some ass while she does...why not. Perhaps he feels..."I spent all this money on her...I need to make sure I get my money's worth." All and all both needs to move on. If it is a break-up then let it be one.

We're assuming all of this..Looking back on it, my first instinct was to think she rushed through the message, thinking she didnt want to ramble...So, OP its up to you..Do you want us to continue to, essentially speculate or maybe you can give us the deets and then the board can really start helping, because i've seen some fantastic insights from people in this thread and I really think they can help you..Or you can do this..get yourself a therapist..theres options for you besides a relationship with a man who doesn't want romantic things with you anymore, but is trying to be the good guy and still help you..but in the end, it'll just be a destructive relationship..and someone or both of you will end up hating each other..

Ending a relationship or changing the dynamics. There is a huge difference. In order for me to fully break the bond that e shrouded me I had to sever all ties no communication at all. I think I'm a very independant person, but it was easy to go back for his advice. It was comfortable but the reminder he would always be there and that he owned me...nope nope no. Put your big girl panties on take back the control if you want that independence and walk...take a deep breath. We are here to help you if that is what you need. Best of luck...kam
