Once again the media goes crazy for next to nothing.

I would have thought the added friction would be the cause for issues but what do I know. I'm not a professional in the field that researches such important concerns.

Besides, if panty lines are a problem I usually just go commando.

Her line about the fabric above the cotton liner not being breathable is a thing that's always annoyed me. In other types of panties as well. The damned things should be all cotton. Advertizing a cotton liner like they're so good for you is just a blatant lie.

I may be dating myself here, but to me, 'thongs' are cheap sandals that give ya blisters between your first and second toe.

I laughed because the doctor starts by saying ALL parts of the thong should be cotton for "breathability" and then goes on to talk about lace thongs (which of course are full of holes, being lace) and narrow thongs not offering enough coverage to protect the vulva. Make up your mind!

A tight, POORLY-FITTING thong can cause abrasions, and solid nylon thongs can hold in moisture...but a soft stretchy LACE thong with a cotton or lace crotch that has a wider "thong" (say, 2" wide) is actually quite comfortable and "barely there". Fitted properly will not sink into the crack to give you a wedgy, won't move around, and won't cause hygiene problems any more than regular panties will. A person should practice clean hygiene anyhow to prevent such infections. I'd continue here but I seriously shouldn't have to teach everyone CLEANLINESS, what direction to wipe in or the importance of thorough wiping and bathing practices. Sheeesh!

Have to admit, I prefer commando, except when in a public arena...like a bus, train, docs office, post office bank etc
And while I dislike thongs for the "chafing my tender bits" Now I only wear them to take them off, PDQ. They only have one function for me....
