Considering that "the usual suspects," so concerned about firearm incidents in the US aren't in or from the US themselves, who cares?

I'd be more interested to know why so few were willing to come join the unmoderated thread.

Because then we would get to play by their rules.

Who did not show up?

Does one engender discussion by dismissing those who would disagree with you?

I'd be more interested to know why so few were willing to come join the unmoderated thread.

Maybe I misunderstood your meaning.

I meant that a number of our players and hobbyists on gun discussions didn't join a thread where people posting lies could be called fucking liars, and where there were no skirts for those who like to throw slurs and then tattle on the response to hide behind.

Nope I understood. That was what I liked about that thread, I was allowed to respond in kind.

Except when I played by your rules, at your invite, you started pissing and moaning, even saying I was off topic. [8|]

Politesub53 -> RE: 3 Injured in School Shooting, where are the usual suspects? (10/26/2013 4:27:08 PM)

Fucking ironic........ Not a single mention of the replies to the OP about who participates in these kind of threads, then more hissy fits and name calling from the usual suspects.

The very same posters who claim it wasnt me guv.........

Eventually I had to use the hide function at the behest of a moderator and another poster, don't know if the other person was mature enough to hide me but I doubt it.

And then the department takes the ARs away from all the motorcycle cops who didn't screw up.
Has the reason they issued them gone away?

What the fuck are the cops doing with automatic weapons?

Generally, an AR-15 is semi-auto only. It's not an automatic weapon.

yeah...... no way have you just read my last post, like all the other times you have said I was on hide.

For most of those who I don't event want the bother of scrolling past, Polite, I don't need to see the particular post to know what it says. I also may let someone out of the corner on a particular subject, or to see if perhaps they have altered their style (that's usually a waste of time and any effort, but I'm an optimist).

Since this isn't an unmoderated thread though, let's steer back to the topic. First, thank God it wasn't a whole lot worse, but next, it does illustrate how such stories are exploited and publicized, when they suit the message of those with an agenda, and ignored when they don't.

And I think a cop that negligent should be fired.

I don't think he should be around firearms, automobiles, or sharp objects. (the cop)

My reply wasnt to you Rich, or I would have quoted you. As for the topic. I thought the title was clear enough, "where are the usual suspects".

I was just pointing out the threads we have started on the topics regarding cops and guns. I also pointed out why some shootings get missed (Too many for starters). I hope this clarifies.

I know, but you raised a broader topic I wished to address briefly.

They were selective fire when I carried one in the military.
The ones that are issued to the cops in california are also selective fire.
What the fuck are cops doing with an automatic weapon?

This whole thing is so stupid it lives down to my view of California.

How so?

The cop screwed up, how could he have left the weapon loaded?

Sounds like someone needs a little emi.

Emi??

Please refrain from straying too far away from the topic, as that would then be a hijack which has always been against forum guidelines. If you have nothing to contribute that relates to the OP, then there is no reason to post.

It was a rhetorical question really, the likelihood of you seeing how your op might look like a pathetic and desperate attempt to create controversy was always going to be super low.

But bless you heart all the same.

Extra military instruction...
ie:teaching dumbasses how to properly secure a weapon so that children cannot tamper with it.

The combination of mental illness and easy access to guns is lethal. The subject is hard to discuss b/c any kind of solution is elusive.

So is the combination of mental illness and the easy access to automobiles.
