The Underground WAS Velvety.

now it feels like gravel. [:(]

The world is poorer and the taste of it's moments lessened and made dusty.

Moonhead -> RE: RIP Lou Reed (10/28/2013 9:00:21 AM)

Oh come off it: it's nearly twenty years since he recorded anything worthwhile. No question that he did some great stuff in his day, but he's been a spent force for a long time now.

and after Eyes Wide Shut, many people could have said the same thing about Kubrick but I doubt you'd support anyone who said so.

Moonhead -> RE: RIP Lou Reed (10/29/2013 9:50:06 AM)

Why wouldn't I?
A spent force is a spent force. It's a long while since Dario Argento did anything worth a shit either.

FUCKING HELL I applaud you for mentioning the Dread Dario, who's hairline was always scarier than his movies. (Unlike Lou's hair).

I'll add one of my stand up one-liners on dario from years back

line © - "The scariest thing Dario Argento did for the past 9 years is agree to let his daughter talk about working with him. Maybe the next movie he makes can be about the horror of Career Suicide."
