Crying is an emotional release, its neither good or bad.

You have to work out if you're crying because you don't like whats being done, or because you do.

My rule has always been, If im cumming like a train, you can ignore the tears, if im bone dry.. somethings wrong.

Emotional release?

Or it could be as Mark Twain said, women cry to keep from cussin' and men cuss to keep from cryin'.

I'm not sure why this is stumping you unless we're missing some information. So receiving spankings can hurt and people cry when they're in pain. They also cry when they feel emotional. That's about it. Feel free to add more detail so that people can be more specific...

Catharsis. Using physical pain to release emotional pain. Hell, my friends who are massage therapists tell me it's common to have a client start to cry, releasing emotional pain through the physical release of tension.

it is what the song says. exactly cry when losing control.  It aint something you gotta worry about.  It dont need analysis.  Why does the sun rise in the east and set in the west?  It does.

Why do you cry when you are spanked, build endorphins and want it again.  You do.  There aint gotta be no reason and there aint gotta be no more, if you want answers, drink a quart of tequila and see god, and speak to him in technicolor yawns.

But don't bother with some of these whys, even some of the pros (and by that I mean years and years and years of it) don't really know.  It has challenged one of your assumptions that you cry for emotion.  But you aint got an emotion you can pin it on, so either a: you have a new emotion (think talk to me, eurythmics) or emotion isn't the only reason you cry....

~FR~

I've been doing this pain play thang for more than a decade now. And we play hard. Sometimes I cry, mostly I don't. I thought about some of the reasons I might cry...

1. It hurts and I'm really not in the mood for it
2. I've had a shit day at work and this is my catharsis
3. It's a punishment and I feel really bad
4. Something about what we're doing touches me deeper than normal and I respond with tears
5. It hurts like fuck but there's no way I'm giving in!
6. He's feeling particularly sadistic and he wants to see me cry, whatever it takes
7. It hurts like fuck but I have to give in and I feel like I've let him down
8. I've got something in my eye
9. I'm not feeling too well and I'm feeling waaaaay sorry for myself
10. I'm not in the mood and I'm frustrated that he still has the right to play me

That's all I could come up with on short notice, but give me another hour and I could give you another 100 reasons.

But the end result is that he likes to see me cry - it turns him on. And unless there is a valid reason behind it (illness being the main one), then he expects me to just get on with it and cry as much as I need to.

(Referring to another thread): I sometimes cry when I am feeling angry.

Is it possible that may the case for you?

sheisreeds -> RE: Crying (10/30/2013 3:33:49 PM)

Spanking hurts! Maybe that's why you cry.

More importantly, how do you feel when you cry, and how do you feel after?

DesFIP -> RE: Crying (10/30/2013 5:47:47 PM)

The other thing that may be going on is that sometimes people just respond irrationally. Some people laugh despite the fact that it hurts. Some people cry. Some people fight back. Intense sensations cause intense reactions. These aren't logical things we're doing. So it makes sense we don't respond logically to it.

littlewonder -> RE: Crying (10/30/2013 7:42:01 PM)

Maybe there's something emotional going on in your life.

When I'm under a lot of stress and then we play, I will usually break down and cry because I just have too much to handle and my emotions just let go. The crying helps though to release the stress because it gives me the opportunity to open up to Master and we are able to really sit down and talk about what's going on in my life even when I didn't realize I was THAT stressed out.

Or it could just be it's painful to you.

petitespot -> RE: Crying (10/30/2013 7:54:41 PM)

Crying usually means the foreplay was reeeally good for me.

SweetAnise -> RE: Crying (10/30/2013 7:57:52 PM)

From your last posting you're probably crying because of what he did to you by which you talk about your Keeper cheating- I don't know getting spanked by my cheater would probably make me cry let alone my Keeper. Or maybe not.

sunshinemiss -> RE: Crying (10/31/2013 7:09:26 AM)

It's the onions. Or the wasabi.

DesFIP -> RE: Crying (11/1/2013 3:03:47 AM)

I hadn't realized that her other post says he's been cheating on her. Why would you still be playing with a guy who lies and cheats and endangers your life? Crying is the least of how you're feeling.
