You may want to start with the booklist that is at the top of the General BDSM forum.

Next, I recommend getting out to your local community and finding an experienced female submissive that will agree to be a mentor.

And lastly, learn everything you can and get your feet underneath you before you become involved with a Dominant. There are many that take advantage of a novice's inexperience (as you've already found out). Knowledge is power.

Welcome! I would also suggest that you do a lot of reading in the Forum. There are some really honest and insightful regular posters to the threads. There are also some asshats. You will figure out who is who!
