Status: offline 		Ive been on this website since 2007 ,I still thin overall its better than bondage (com) and fet(life). But the only reason fet(life) exists is because there practically little to no direct support for user issues with this website.

Its almost impossible to easily and effectively report spam, sock puppet profiles, underage users, men or women who make fake profiles,and really old out dated profiles no one has logged into for years. Theres many other issues and I really want to make this site better.I have decided that if I can get enough user interest on here maybe we can get the owners and mods to make some slight changes here.But we have to pick our battles.

so where should we have this discussion?and how?someplace that the owners will take notice?

in the test forum?polls? Not sure anyone have some suggestions?

Status: offline 		Most of us like it just the way it is - even with the odd glitch here & there.
You can report spam very easily - there's a button on every cmail and an auto-spam system.
You can report all sorts of fake and sock profiles easily too - there's a report button.
And if it's serious enough, you can alert any of the mods on either side and it is dealt with pretty quickly.
As for old profiles, unless you change the search, it always comes up with the newest first so you have to go a l-o-n-g way to find really old ones.

So there really isn't a lot to fix.
Sure there could be some neat tweaks but why spend $$'s on a FREE site? The servers cost enough as it is.

How is by typing about things like always.

Getting the owners to notice? Who knows. Fairly easy to get a mod to check out the thread, but I can't say how much a thread'd help reach the owners and programmers.

As to what to change, what do you want to change, specifically? Because you listed a bunch of things there, some of them which I agree with and some I dont but all behind other updates I'd like to see first. For example, I couldn't care less about ancient unused profiles on the site nor do I agree in a blacklist.

it doesn't belong in this part of the forums.

this part of the site doesn't fetch in the money, the other side does with advertising. as nothing has changed with this site since I've been a member even with others bring up the issues I doubt it will anytime soon. unless some whizz is going to do it all for free I doubt it will change unless we all have to pay to use the site. I for one won't do that.

I can tell you from experience that paid sites are no better. in fact the one I did use was far worse than this site. yes this site has its issues, but it's still better than elsewhere.

this thread is basically coz you're not getting laid isn't it?

Status: offline 		Getlife exist for a lot more reasons than that. It has all the forums and groups. It also has events and gatherings. It has videos and photos. All with out personals. So it's more of a social networking site. You have to get out to munches, play parties and events to be find friends or be active in threads and forums and friend people who have taken time to read your writings. People don't get spammed, scammed, etc. They simply network with friends and like minded people.

But honestly, there was a time when Alt.com was the best thing ever. Then bondage.com. Even collarme.com was the best thing ever for awhile. Now a lot of the really great people are over on fetlife. Even fetlife could eventually be replaced by something much better. It's just a matter of time.

I'd just like to start out with the obvious....

Why do you feel the need to post as such: "....bondage (com) and fet(life). But the only reason fet(life) ..."?

Why don't you just say bondage.com, fetlife.com etc.?

As to the owners taking notice...it would appear, through the Moderators, that they indeed have.

I hope you feel validated.

The reason that Fetlife exists is because it is a different use of social media. It has nothing to do with the way this site is run or one's ability to contact the administration. I've had email exchanges with two of the Mods in the past three days, so I can't agree with your statement that they are impossible to talk to.

I have *never* had a problem reporting underage profiles, nor have I *ever* seen this site slow to act in getting them removed.

I report spam darn near every day. That nice little "mark as spam and delete" button works wonders.

I don't cruise profiles, so I have no comment on that.

I primarily use this joint for the forums, which means it works pretty well from that standpoint.

Fetlife exists because it's basically the kinky version of Facebook. It copied a successful social media. It has nothing to do with this website.

No it's not. Scroll to the bottom and click support. They move amazingly fast on underage, illegal or bigoted profiles. As far as old profiles, if someone doesn't close their account, it stays. I assume that is has something to do with the legal jargon.

We in the forums, tend to not visit the profile side, so you're not going to gain any support here.

As I tell everyone that goes bitching about the site: It's a free site. You have paid nothing to be here. You're in someone else's house. If you don't like it, feel free to start your own site and make your own rules.

I resent that. I met my sweetie on Bondage.com via the Sports forum, which I do moderate. We're happy and contented living in the frozen Midwest. (He moved me, my cats, and my stuff from South Florida. Any temperature below 70 degrees Parenthetic is frozen tundra.)

That's odd. The REPORT feature is quite EASY to find on CollarMe for profile, journal entries, and photos. I'm not sure why you've had a problem with it.

Status: offline 		You do realize that a lot of the old profiles have some really great pictures and videos to still enjoy? Plus, you never know, maybe they will come back. I've had some lengthy absences myself.
