FR~ I name my computers on something that springs up when I'm rebuilding them or installing them. But I don't have any particular theme as such. Bearing in mind I'm building these machines from scrap parts that I acquire, usually via freecycle, some of the names are quite odd. Example: One Dell optiplex 260 I was rebuilding was being such a cow I kept calling it a flaming Dell. So I ended up finding a Dell logo backdrop that was on fire and put "Flaming" above it and hence its name. Another one, a Compaq Evo machine was being a right pain-in-the-ass when it came to getting a video card working properly in it. It ended up being called Evil Evo. An old E-Sytem 308 I was given was ok and ran quite well and was deathly quiet (really good fans in it). I gave it some extra Ram I had laying around and a half-decent graphics card and it ran as smooth as silk. But finding motherboard drivers for the thing was a real bitch! I looked at the mobo and saw it was a Foxconn something and just by chance, the video card was also a Foxconn badged one. I found a lovely picture of a fox prancing in the snow and it became the Fox machine. We also have Icarus, Nova, Breunhilda, Midget, Fox400, IX48, Rayvern, Skull, Obelisk, Pia and the Print Server. Every single one has a history behind how it got its name as opposed to something chosen arbitrarilly. No doubt something will come to mind when I build the next one, it always does. [:D] Sorry I can't really help MN, but I didn't restrict myself at the very beginning; especially to such a narrow subject.
