First there was the birther thing, then it was "Obama is a Muslim," now the some on the conservative side have come up with: quote: Bombshell! Barack Obama High School Classmate Reveals That He Was A Well Known Homosexual The truth finally comes out It took awhile, but now childhood friends of president Barack Obama are now coming forward to reveal a past that included massive cocaine use, rampant homosexuality and uncontrollable lying. At the very least, the events related to Obamacare in the past 2 weeks show beyond question is affinity for relentless, pathological lying. Source I know Obama is not the best president we have had, but I can think of a couple who were just as bad if not worse, but come on, this shit is borderline insanity.

I think that what you have shown is not so much conservatism, but racism. I have in conservative views on some topics myself but overall I like to think of myself as a progressive.

Why was it not prudent to ascertain that Obama fit the requirements to hold the office of the President? After that was given, those who continued that train of thought were laughed at by the liberals and conservatives who didn't continue, just sadly shook our heads, and went about our business, ignoring them. The "Obama is a Muslim" thing is more difficult to disprove because you can't see into the man's heart or soul. Those who continue this attempt to discredit Obama get ridiculed by those on the left, and ignored by those of us who either don't believe he's a Muslim, or don't give a fuck what religious beliefs he holds (you know, he is allowed to freely worship). Now the homosexuality angle? I can't believe what horseshit is brought up. First off, isn't homosexuality a bad, bad thing within the Muslim religion? I don't know the answer, which is why I ask. Second, not all conservatives give a glimmer of a fuck what his sexual preferences are. Conservatism isn't anti-gay, or anti-Muslim. Conservatives aren't required to be Christian, either. But, those who call themselves "Conservatives" and continue to act like fucking loons are not following Conservatism, but simply acting like fucking loons.

Now if a real, honest, sincere and qualified person runs for the office, I would vote for him or her without hesitation. However, no one, Democrat or Republican or Libertarian or Green Party has actually tried to run for political office. At this point I would vote for Alfred E. Nueman or Garfield for president as write ins, or if she actually ran for office, Wednesday Mourning. Now you want to try again to nail down my political philosophy, or would you be so kind as to address an opinion on the subject?
