If the GOP paid Russian Hackers who work with Islamic Terrorists, then YOUR SUPPORT OF THE GOP IS MATERIAL SUPPORT OF TERRORISM UNDER US LAW.

If you're a REPUBLICAN, CALL YOUR LAWYER IMMEDIATELY TO PROTECT YOURSELF!

This program continually displays alternate page of the ObamaCare website. It has no virus, trojans, worms, or cookies.

The purpose is to overload the ObamaCare website, to deny service to users and perhaps overload and crash the system.

You can open as many copies of the program as you want. Each copy opens multiple links to the site.

ObamaCare is an affront to the Constitutional rights of the people. We HAVE the right to CIVIL disobedience!

It would be like the homophobe republicans complaining that gay marriages were not happening fast enough after fighting tooth and nail to defeat them.......

Does anyone believe they are sincere?

From your article:
    quote:

In a blog post published Thursday, Arbor researcher Marc Eisenbarth said there's no evidence Healthcare.gov has been subjected to any significant denial-of-service attacks since going live last month. He also said the limited request rate, the lack of significant distribution, and other features of the tool's underlying code made it unlikely that it could play a significant role in taking down the site. The tool is designed to put a strain on the site by repeatedly alternating requests to the https://www.healthcare.gov and https:www.healthcare.gov/contact-us addresses. If enough requests are made over a short period of time, it can overload some of the "layer 7" applications that the site relies on to make timely responses.

ETA: There is no proof this came from someone within the GOP. There is no proof of a DOS attack on the site.

Might be a better idea to wait and see what shakes out from further research and investigation, no?

EdBowie -> RE: Scumbag GOP: DOS Healthcare.Gov, Complain it's down. (11/8/2013 8:16:03 AM)

I would be amazed if there weren't some form of orchestrated DOS attacks, or if somebody vehemently opposed let an opportunity like that pass, but I'm going to have to see more evidence than that.

I wouldn't be surprised, either, but this article doesn't prove there was, or that it was the GOP behind it.

until we learn more, there's no way to rule out the possibility that it was developed by an Obamacare supporter with the hope of discrediting critics.

If the DEMOCRATS paid Russian Hackers who work with Islamic Terrorists, then YOUR SUPPORT OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS MATERIAL SUPPORT OF TERRORISM UNDER US LAW.

I would disagree. Someone has written a program which has, as it's sole intent, a DOS attack on another website. They have distributed that program. So yeah, there's some sort of "orchestrated DOS attack" going on.

I see nothing which attributes that DOS attack to the GOP. The phrase at the end might be construed as "some particularly fanatical tea party types" but in the end, like you, I'll prefer to wait and see what comes of this. What's interesting about this is that unlike zombies and trojans this isn't malware. As I understand it, the people who are running this software KNOW what it's intended purpose is. In other words, they are all committing a felony class crime. This should be interesting how this turns out.

Until it's proven that there was a DOS attack, there can only be allegations of the felony. I don't know if having the software, distributing the software, or even writing the code, constitutes a felony if it's never been used. Perhaps intent can be proven and that's where the law was broken, but, as with other things, we need more info.

I'm waiting for Obama, Reid, Pelosi, et al Dem pols, the msm and, last but certainly not least, Obama minions to blame this on Bush. LOL

RacerJim -> RE: Scumbag GOP: DOS Healthcare.Gov, Complain it's down. (11/8/2013 11:21:34 AM)

Scumbag Obama knew he was LYING about Obamacare from the get-go (2008) because he knew if he told the truth about Obamacare he wouldn't get elected.

mnottertail -> RE: Scumbag GOP: DOS Healthcare.Gov, Complain it's down. (11/8/2013 11:29:12 AM)

Thats why scumbag nutsackers terrorized the healthcare website, to pay him back for having a birth certificate.

So he knew of all the exact details of the Affordable Care Act, including the seventeen pages of amendments, BEFORE the document was revised from his initial plan that he sent to Congress in mind 2009....BEFORE....he was elected. Frankly, the President has been much more honest of the ACA and even taken responsibility for it not living up to standards; much unlike former President George W. Bush and all those missing WMDs we were suppose to find in Iraq when we invaded it!

Besides, you never read the document, so your speaking from the point of view of others telling you how to think.....

joether -> RE: Scumbag GOP: DOS Healthcare.Gov, Complain it's down. (11/8/2013 11:57:24 AM)

I wonder what the NSA knows of this event? Who else on the planet would know better if this had happen or not? And if this actually did happen, I'm sure either the DOJ or the FBI would be pursuing all leads to hunt down those that may have helped in-country. And the CIA for foreign locations.

What would Islamic terrorists have to gain by healthcare.gov being assaulted by an enormous amount of DOS to the site? They had everything to gain with the US Government completely shutting down a few weeks ago (thanks to the Republican/Tea Party). Or have all you conservatives forgotten that event and what it was leading up to? So why would they wish to impede this, when its helping to wreck the nation from within. They don't have to do a single thing, and STILL claim victory.

No, the more likely candidates dwell within conservative circles. They would have the most to gain if we used logic (they have tried all other means to get rid of it to date). Just as Americans were shocked when we learned WHO hit the nation on 4/19/95; and more importantly what their political philosophy was based on. An how many of you had to look up that date to know what the hell I was talking about?

Now it could be some crazy liberal's action. But the underlining issue here is 'crazy' as in 'not sane'. Sane liberals know that conservatives have become desperate to try ANYTHING that might hinder the ACA from taking full effect. Since once it does, Americans will then be asking the question "Why did we NOT have something like this in place years ago? Hey, thanks' Democrats! You need to be elected in red states too? Ok, I'll help you!'. Whether that's true or not is irrelevant, its what conservatives believe that is.

Correct. But if they passed up the opportunity, they are beyond incompetent.

It could also be an attempt to gain more time to get things going or an attempt to push the public's attention in another direction.

Could be that since Obomya is a liar, nothing happened at all. Liberals have made lying a way of life aftetall.

Um yes, actually, yes, he did.

Do you not recall the daily conferences between the white house and democratic congressmen?
So yes, he absolutely knew every significant fact before it was a law, and presumably at every stage of the drafting of the bill.

Yeah.. Bush is responsible for Obamacare because of WMD's in Iraq.

Uhhuh.

And frankly, I'm wondering what republicans fargle voted for. I'm guessing Dukakis, Carter, Gore, Clinton, and probably Woodrew Wilson.
