I'm like you Jeff, I believe dominance and submission exist in our everyday interactions with people. I also think good dominants, like good leaders, are rare.

My advice would be go to the Animal Shelter. Find the Biggest, Baddest, Meanest, bite your leg off dog you can find. Get it bring it home and work with that dog till it doesn't eat Your arm off and smile at you when it is done. That will build your confidence. If that is too scary then join the Service, Make it through the ranks, get your Infantry Badge and at least one serious tour of Duty. Take that home with you and it will help you learn how become a "Master".

Be a Man first and foremost, step up to the plate. You will fuck up from time to time, owning up to that fuck up is to be a man, accepting the responsibility of taking care of, nurturing, and seeing to the comfort of not only your submissive, yourself, your home, your job, and your family *blood and non-blood. Is just a starter, putting all of that to work into a relationship and keeping that relationship fulfilling for B/both not just O/one, then you will be close to the great Master you wish to be.
