Joking aside, OP, I understand why this didn't go over well on Fet. You're inquiry is still pretty much the same as any other "hey, I'm looking for somebody to beat me" kind of thing, so try to have patience with whomever is running that discussion group. They don't know your intentions and you have to cut them a break.

SHouldn't that be "Sir Whack-a-mole?" to keep in proper BDSM parlance?

And more seriously, I approve of the "friends" thing in general. In my life, when I need help I turn to my circle of friends. Some of them are kinky. Pretty much no matter what I needed in the kinky space someone would come through.. and that would be with our whopping "two couples who are friends in the local community."
