Q1: Do you have any articles of clothing or types of fashion (other than fetish wear) that you wish was in style, that is not right now?

I guess mine would be 1) Corsets (even not as "fetish wear") - I just like the way they make my waist look, and -

2) What ever happened to hats? I do have straw sun-hat w/a large brim, but other than that I have none because nobody wears them anymore.

Q2: Do you have an article of clothing that is in style now, and you really don't care for it or understand the appeal?

Mine are crop pants. I have always thought that unless someone is a willowly reed-thin model type, these are not particularly flattering to anyone and don't understand the current craze (but to each his/her own).

Just curious.

Personally, I couldn't care less what was in, or out of, fashion if I was being paid to.

all the tight leather and latex stuff i've seen where not on people who where fetishists, so I'll go with those...every female must be required to wear skin tight shiney stuff.

LOL Arpig! I do understand this is not exactly a Q for your macho-Dominants in regard to themselves personally, maybe.

If anyone else feels that way, they can answer what clothing on women they thought was nice looking or hot that they never see anymore that they wish they did, etc. Guess I should have said that.

I wish that clothes made for women who actually have breasts, a waist and hips were in fashion.  Too often clothes are cut for people that have the body of a 12 year old boy, even when they make it in the larger sizes.

i agree with susan... i wish you could get a corset down the high street at like a normal price. coz i just luv the way they feel on...

and platform shoes... i'm 5'9, so if i wear anything that makes me taller, i just look like bigbird off seasome street

but i guess ultimately i wish we could just wear our collar and cuffs out, or be cuffed and on the leash, and not get arrested.

No kidding on the price of corsets. Geez, they are pretty and am sure they are not uncomplicated to make, but last I checked, they can run anywhere from $75-300 (or more) dollars.

I feel like a piece of _rap. I tuned in and noticed a TV was reading this. I'd like to emphasize this is not just a Q for females or submissives - it's for anyone. Sorry if I offended anybody.

Regarding corsets, Have a friend who has offered to teach me and give a hand to make corsets for Neets (Ok so even us male Grizzlies have some artistic tallents like making all our medieval gear .......) at a 10th of the cost of buying them.... Perhaps there is even a corset making group near you....

hi shivvy

I must be fortunate.  I have a store in my local city - a goth shop that sells Vollers corsets and you can buy a decent one there for under £100.  She sells online as well.  Vollers are good to purchase from too direct.

it would be great if garters and stockings would come back as a standard.  specially the french style stockings with the high step stiching on the heel or the stockings with the line up the back of the leg.  i watch a lot of old movies and watch to see what women are wearing and try to catch the tell tale signs of the garter strap.  i think it's extreamly sexy.  and i love the feel of the nylons on my ears.  hehe

I guess you could say kilts aren't in style but I wear mine often.
I even wear it as "fetish" wear to parties.

I have  gone to fetish parties in full highland dress.

I now have a black utilikilt that goes nicley with my blk leather vest.

Otherwise I could care less about fashion. If I like and it looks good
on me then I wear it. My last purchase following a fad was buying
a Nehru suit.

Love seeing a lady in silk stockings and a black cocktail shirt and blouse. Love such skirts if ankle length to be slit to the hip or if knee length slit to mid thigh....

Not as long as you may think. My second wife used to weah a garter belt and silk stocking when we went out and a slit black cocktail dress. It took her as long to dress as it did me to get ito my suit and tie etc.
