I agree with the silk stockings, garter belt and the corset on females...OK, maybe just some females. Also the high heels do tend to do something to their butt that is damned near perverted (weg). Combine all of the above...and although I'm not submissive, I'm going to be very easily persuaded...lol.

Pirate outfits! And the corresponding serving wenches peasant blouses and those wonderfully colorful full gypsy skirts.. along with the prerequisite leather bodice of course!

No kidding on the price of corsets. Geez, they are pretty and am sure they are not uncomplicated to make, but last I checked, they can run anywhere from $75-300 (or more) dollars.

Actually... they're quite labor intensive if you're making something worth wearing. However learning to make them on your own (general your) can save you quite a bit in terms of money.

Half the time they're made so poorly you can't get much wear and tear out of them. They'll have plastic boning. They'll have single stitch seams. They'll use fabrics that just aren't flattering.

What you save in expense you'll more than pay for in time. But the end product (once they've become easier to make) will be far worth the effort.

For any interested I'd suggest going with plastic boning and very cheap fabrics to practice with. And once someone has got the hang of it the move to the higher quality, prettier fabrics and the metal boning.

Shameless plug: I've got a friend in Washington who makes absolutely stunning corsets for a price. And she's looking to actually start a business. Anyone interested in having a custom made corset may feel free to contact me on the other side for additional details.

Lastly, I'd love to see cortsets worn casually... along with Victorian and Renaissance era gowns.

belly dance gear, oh yes, I'd love to hear my coin belt a-shakin as I walk through walmart. Looove the sparkly beads that swish on belly dancing costumes..think of how pretty the world would be in rainbow colors if we all walked about in dance wear.

I may be contacting you, Madame Dahlia. Thanks for the information.

Hmmmm, i love long swirly skirts, low cut tops, short flirty sundresses, i love corsets, stockings and heels, but my favorite outfit that i wish would be in style is simply naked.

Except i'm never really naked, i always have my collar on.

Mine are crop pants. I have always thought that unless someone is a willowly reed-thin model type, these are not particularly flattering to anyone and don't understand the current craze (but to each his/her own).

I disagree. I think they look best on hourglass figures. Put them on rail-thin women and it only accentuates how underfed they look, I find it incredibly unappealing.

We both think that weapons in public should be brought back.

I completely agree. I think it would be really cool to be able to wear an slender, ornate, jeweled dagger strapped to the arm.

Oh, and by the way ... the comments by some, about people that were not gifted with curvy bodies, are a little on the rude side ... just so you know. No wonder everyone wants boob jobs.

As a big girl, I hope capris never go out of style!
