njlauren -> Exorcism, anyone? (11/17/2013 9:58:02 AM)

So some Catholic Bishop in the Illinois said he is going to perform an exorcism I would guess aimed at the Illinois Legislature and government in general...because of Bogoyovich? Because of corrupt elections? Cause the legislature was spitting pea soup and their heads were spinning? Nope, because they passed same sex marriage. It is funny, Catholics as a whole are these days more supporting of same sex marriage then the population as a whole (it is roughly 54%-47%), yet they can't understand how the leadership of their own church is hurting them, how JPII and Benedict and the Bishops they appointed have made the RC seem a lot more intolerant then it is. You read this, or you read how the Bishops go after nuns who help the poor and powerless but don't scream and yell about abortion and gays, then they wonder why people look at Catholics and Catholicism as something from the dark ages? I think the church hopefully is cleaning out its demons with the current Pope, who seems more concerned with real world ills rather than being obsessed with sexuality, but clowns like this joker continue to make it look like a church full of clowns.

I hope they make a video out of it. I'll make sure to have a lot of popcorn available...

First of all, I consider all politicians hell spawn, and thus demons, so an exorcism wont work,he needs to banish them back to the ninth circle of hell.

The wonderful thing about freedom of expression is how easy it makes it to spot the shitheads.

It's all talk... He would first have to prove by law that all those in the legislature were not mentally ill. And that is assuming he gets permission... He can't do it on his own.

Whatever he does though, just DO NOT turn off the power grid.

That Bishop should be careful about doing exorcisms, he might just vanish in a puff of smoke![8|]

I would not go so far as to call myself a shithead. However, deranged, deluded, insane, having a full deck of jokers, I might even have a couple, ok lots of screws loose.

And if you are referring to the bishop, there is a lot of documentation he has to get to prove possession. The church does not just perform exorcisms at the drop of a hat.

Now if you dont mind,I need to continue talking to the green chimp about fixing health care, and get him some light bulbs to snack on.

So, not a chance.

I wish the Bishop every success. I do not think that it will work, but everyone needs a goal.

Its a little late for this but,

Wouldnt it be better just to get the Illinois legislature personal trainers, I mean what does a bishop know about exercise?

The Church has approved Exorcism despite diagnosis of epilepsy and severe mental illness. Here is a case. The video is about 7 minutes:

No but I think it's time for everyone to start sticking pins into an Obama look-alike doll.
