Honestly, i can't tell if what you were posting about others was positive experiences or negative. Im not sure what you are trying to say. Oh well. Chin up. Plenty of fish and all that ...

So, you don't see how saying they're assholes would be viewed as negative?

oh i'm done with the ride, or fishing to keep within metaphor. i was just posting a 'look-back' to some of the best attributes i encountered in people from collarme over the years, the ones that were unique and whom have aspects i respect even if we weren't compatible on any higher basis than understanding each others sense of humor(a rare thing that).

lol hence the sarcastic smiley afterward, most of them would often refer to themselves as assholes, i thought adding the sticking tongue out smiley would make it obvious i was being facetious.

Compatability is a tough nut to crack in any venue, Sense of humor goes a long way.

Good luck in wherever you wind up.

I'm not sure if this counts as a flounce (unless I misundrstood something in the OP). I would classify it as a "parting shot", maybe.

Did I miss something?

Feeling pedantic...

The original phrase was "Parthian shot" after the after the tribe that specialized in firing their arrows at you while riding away.

Just in a mood,

You say you are leaving, although under this nick you haven't been here very long nor made many posts.
And I have no idea who else you might have been in the past.

And although you say you are leaving you are still posting.
That is a very neat trick.

well i suppose i'll come back just because i like the abuse. i followed the guidelines, i would vote for "this is a waste of my time" since i was simply expecting to meet other positive people who had fun around here and wish to start enjoying the forums. i'm not angry, if anything just disappointed(i'm no longer confused about what people wish to call my post "breaking the rules" it's obvious that isn't the issue here) feel free to call it what whatever you will. i'm sorry that i intruded on your group with the wrong expectations.

i think you may have missed that post.... as for the first part, of course you don't know who i am. you never asked. and i believe that the point of getting to know people is talking to them, or in the case of the internet engaging in the forum, posting and responding to find those whom you admire and find uplifting. you are not required by any means to get to know me, and if you do not wish to get to know me or ask me who i am or what i'm about, or read what i have posted than i don't see why who i am would matter. if you don't wish to talk with me, as a kind lady on another forum told me there is a nifty little "hide" feature if you choose to use it. if not you are always free to talk with me to discover if i am a type of person you would be interested in getting to know.

I have read some of your posts.

I don't know you as you are new to me... I figure that if you stick around I would get to know you, in time.
I am sorry you feel disappointed but I am not sure you have really given us a fair shake.

Fast reply.

For what it's worth, I'm not entirely sure that I understand the post. I might have understood it when it had been placed in the Positive Experiences forum *if* it had matched the guidelines there and there was more to the original. One of those things, in fairness to the other parties, would have been to include the original screen name that you had met them under. Another would have been to ensure that they are still members of the site.

What it's become, I'm not sure that I understand, either. Since you're saying it "was" a good ride, does that mean that you are no longer meeting people from the site or leaving it entirely? If it's the latter, I also don't understand the creation of a new screen name for the purpose. When nobody knows who you are, I don't understand the point. I'd completely understand wanting to say good-bye if people are acquainted with you.

With this, OP, would you mind clarifying? If you would tell folks your prior screen name, maybe we'd have a better reference.

For the record (and not saying this is a good thing or a bad thing!) I did 'get' the funny in your OP. When you wrote about 'assholes' I thought you were talking about rimming (yes, that's where my mind goes.. ah well) and the funny tongue just clinched it for me. I didn't take it as negative at all. I chuckled. Good parts of assholes .. I mean.. that was funny to me and what is that if not rimming! Let's face it.. there's just not that much good stuff about an asshole and rimming.. at least that's something!

Don't mind me. I'm weird and very few people actually talk to me. It's all good. Well wishes to you no matter where your toes point you.

well if you are open to it we can always try again lol, perhaps if we post on the same things in time we will get to know each other. i always try to be reasonable and i value hearing the opinions of others, but i can definitely be sardonic and will always be direct and online that can come off as mean-spirited i suppose. hope to see you around and maybe get to know you from a different perspective.

lol this is the second time i posted at the same time as you and screwed up the flow :P so sorry again it appears i have really bad timing today(yeah that could be a euphemism as well) thanks for that, i tend not to think before i talk/type so what people get is unfiltered and in person it helps that i always have a goofy smile attached.

the guidelines only said that it "should" contain their screen names so i figured since i was no longer talking to them it would be best if i did not. my post on the "introductions" page i think explains the rest. in short i have been on the other side for a good number of years and at some point(years ago) when the layout was different blocked my pages connection to the forum, i tried logging in through it to the forum and it doesnt work so i made a new one only for the forum so i could post, get into conversations all that lot.

the "goodbye" was to the other side, meaning i was going to give talking to people in the forums a go but i was done meeting people from the dating side of cm, only here for discussions and not a relationship by any means. a sort of transition, i didnt post to the forums from my prior screen name so i dont see how that would tell anyone anything more than my sign-in date, age, and gender.. since i have nothing more posted their than a long winded "not looking" i will pm you from that account if you would really like to know, but i doubt it would provide you with the answers you are looking for. i'm just a fresh face saying goodbye to the other side of cm and trying to get a foot in the door on this side.

and i agree that this discussion makes absolutely no sense when not listed in "positive experiences"... it should probably be closed, but i think only mods can do that.. unless i'm wrong? i honestly don't know.

lol my profile is hardly perv worthy, no dirty pictures or anything just years and years of journals since cm was my go to place to write every detail of my existence without worrying about people reading it or it being left at some random house i would never return to... its all quite arduous... but now i'm just going to make people more curious and then they will be sorely disappointed when they find out how uninteresting it all is
