Is it too early for someone to do the 'They're Going to Ban Christmas!' one? That's my favourite 'Political Correctness Gone Mad' squawk of all time.

I once mad a Caribbean Trifle when I was ther and I made the custard with a half bottle of rum.............they didn't know what to call it but it vanished fast enough

Actually, we use both terms. Jam has mashed fruit bits in it, jelly doesn't.
